  1. I have been finding them in the same locations I would fish in cold weather. I have caught a lot of fish along steep drop offs.
  2. Happy 40th youngster.
  3. I'll say $2000. It's better to have to much $$$ on hand than not enough.
  4. Good Going!!
  5. I like to learn new things. I may not always be able to use them in the waters I fish, but I will know them just in case.
  6. Prayers for a quick and strong recovery.
  7. I would try a frog or a weightless super fluke.
  8. Not my first bass, but my first channel cat. Caught it on a cane pole with a bobber while fishing for bluegill off of some rip rap. Bobber disappeared and I pulled a 2 pound cat out of the water. I was 8 at the time.
  9. You have some nice looking bass right there, good job!
  10. Probably when I was 6 or 7. I have learned to be thankful for every fish caught. I could have gone home skunked.
  11. On the sides but not on the back end. Could be something to keep the floats where they are during a storm.
  12. Cordell use to have a color that was a cross between white and silver. I have a 1/4 oz spot and a 1/2 oz. big-o in that color. I use to have a 1/3 oz. big-o but lost it years ago. I have never caught as many bass on any crankbait as I did on that thing. No matter what the weather or time of day that bait caught bass.

  14. Good going. Days like that make memories.
  15. I tend to get skunked more in the winter. So far this summer I have been pretty lucky. I haven't been skunked yet.
  16. Shad color is about the only thing working for me right now.
  17. I'll say weather. Was a front approaching?
  18. It's called Mark Twain Lake. Everyone in the world can be fishing that lake and catching them. I won't get a bite.
  19. I would think that it would wash off the baits pretty fast, but it might cover your scent for a while.
  20. If the water is not hard I use the same baits that I do in summer. If the water is frozen I stay home.
  21. Are you itching anywhere? Whenever I have a tick on me it starts to itch about the 2nd day.
