  1. I never had any luck with rooster tails until I started using the 1/16 size. I just cast it out and let it sink.
  2. So far this year it has been crankbaits, jigs, and super flukes.
  3. At least that gator didn't try to come on board!
  4. Sunfish, bluegill, and turtles have gone after my ribbon tails before.
  5. Mann's 1 minus crankbait. I would run it right over the tops of the weeds.
  6. If there is no family stuff going on I will stay out for 10 to 12 hours. 6 to 7 if there is something I need to get done.
  7. I like to reel in crankbaits right over the tops of the weeds.
  8. Probably jigs and trailers. I lose a lot of them.
  9. I use to paint mine, but not anymore. I never noticed a difference if the catching.
  10. Largemouth is about the only fish that I don't like to eat.
  11. I was up on a ladder a couple of years ago trimming the bushes in the front yard with an electric hedge trimmer. My yard is very uneven and full of small holes. One of the ladder legs slipped, and the trimmer caught the palm of my free hand. Luckily the trimmer has a safety switch you have to hold down to operate it, and I was wearing a work glove. The glove was shredded where the blade caught it, and I had a pretty nasty cut across my hand, but luckily that was all.
  12. I really don't have a favorite. If I like it, I listen to it.
  13. watermelon, watermelon red, orange/brown, and blue/black.
  14. I try never to lift anything bigger than a dink. If I can reach the fish I will lip it in the water.
  15. Jig and craw worked under those trees and along that wall.
  16. I usually start shallow. If I can't find the bass there I move into deeper water.
  17. Cloudy, humid, temp in the mid 70's, and just enough wind to put a ripple on the water.
  18. Around here anything over 5 is considered a hawg.
  19. Welcome to the forums!
  20. Nice looking fish, good job!
  21. You have had a busy year so far!
  22. The lobby where I work is glass, and at least once a week someone on a cell phone walks into the glass wall. I put part of the blame on cell phones, and I also put part of the blame on the company for wanting their employees on call 24/7.
  23. Congrats!
  24. I like brush hogs in open water with a c-rig. I use baby brush hogs in cover with a t-rig.
