  1. Google "Berkley hard baits", you'll find all of the currently produced crankbaits from Berkley
  2. Surely on "the web's oldest, largest and most popular bass fishing site" there must a few anglers that have tried fishing a drop shot rig using strait braid with no monofilament leader. Tell me how successful it was for you. oe

  4. gobble them up like a fire sale in a van Gogh gallery...
  5. While fishing (not tournaments) you decide a different diameter line will present your bait more productively. Do you carry multiple reels with several diameters of line to be prepared for this scenario? Use leaders and carry multiple spools to retie with? Continue fishing with what you have tied on and change line before your next trip? oe
  6. Did anyone throw a Bandit crankbait (100, 200 or 300) last year? Did it catch any bass? Smallmouth or largemouth? Pond, lake or stream? I won't throw mine away, but it's been years since I've thrown them... oe
  7. Tom, have you compared this alteration against tying feathers and/or tinsel to the back treble?
  8. FOR ME, I clip the leading point from the front treble on lip-less and square bill crankbaits to lessen the weeds these baits pick up in my lakes. (I'm not a tournament angler) oe
  9. ...same answer when fishing a chatterbait? oe
  10. With braids I don't pay much attention to the diameters, as how tightly it is woven and whether or not it is coated will have an affect on diameter without affecting the strength. oe
  11. Looking for a wake bait in the 2 1/2" - 3" length range. Anybody have one they're excited about? oe
  12. The "NEVER" group has surprised me. Maybe I'll try that approach this next season, as I'm currently an "ALWAYS". Thanks for the replies. oe
  13. Years ago, when young, I had an electric wood burning pen... oe
  14. I use 4#, 6# and 10# mainline braid on the 4 spinning reels I carry in my boat. Diameter and composition of leaders (if used) depends on abrasion protection wanted, lure drop speed wanted or lure retrieve depth wanted. oe
  15. A much enjoyed activity oe
  16. When fishing a spinnerbait, do you fish it with a plastic trailer... Always, Sometimes, Seldom, Never. oe
  17. I prefer greasing gears with drag grease and frame bearings with 90 wt oil. oe
  18. Take 1/2 of the amount you are ready to spend on a NRX+ and budget it to an experienced custom rod builder...
  19. When working a bait on bottom I'm using a spinning rod/reel and hold both the rod and line with my index finger. I pull the bait with rod and reel up slack line between pulls. oe
