  1. The posters above are right about Dewalt. Pretty much the same thing as B&D. I've been in the construction field for 15 years. Milwaukee is a great choice for the tools you mention. Haven't tried Hitachi's power tools but their coil nailers are good. Porter Cable makes good stuff too.
  2. This isn't a pond that will be hammered by 200 angler's for 3 days. It's a big lake. You'll be surprised at how little effect those guys will have on the fish. Good structure will replenish in just a couple of days. Have more faith in yourself as an angler.
  3. THE CUBS IS DEAD!!! THE BREWERS ARE DYING!!!
  4. They showed a nice video clip of Musial on TV before they brought him out on the cart. He is a very special guy. Was cool when he played take me out to the ballgame on his harmonica when he was inducted.
  5. To G.P!!! Not looking good tonight. LOL! Oh....taking out yalls starter after 4. Ouch!
  6. Pickwick is a great lake. I'll be there! That should be prime post spawn smallmouth time!

Way to go Emily! Just awesome girl! Good job Dad. You da man buddy! CJ
  8. I just got back from St. Louis yesterday. I took my boys to the game Wednesday night! I got to see a great pitching match up with Mark Cain and Adam Wainwright from the 6th row right behind the camera pit on the visitors side. It was a great game. The rookie Colby Rasmus wins it in the 10th with a walk off HR! The Cards are still up and down with their offense. Albert has been carrying them mostly. Tony has got to get his head out of his butt and send Duncan to the minors. This guy totally sucks and I don't think he is good enough for AAA ball. I'm not seeing any adjustments being made with any of the struggling hitters. Ankiel has been swinging through off speed pitches all year and Duncan has been swinging through everything. The NL central is an open door for whatever team wants to get it together right now.
  9. : No, he didn't fake that grand slam last night. It really happened! Tony said it a few years ago,"Albert is a better person than he is a ball player". That's saying a whole lot! He is the total package and the greatest player in the game right now and he would be even if he was a Cub.
  10. Milton Bradley is a freakin' genius!!! He catches the ball in a showboat fashion, poses for the fans a few seconds, then throws the ball in the stands.......and its just 2 outs!!!
  11. That's pretty funny right there Glen! Make sure they got a canoe for Glenn and Keri to rent.
  12. You won't like where I pick CJ. Depends on how fast you can pick!!! ;D I'll fish anywhere. But if you were gonna make it Lake of the Ozarks, make it for summer so I can hang out in Party Cove!!!
  13. The Cards need to trade 2 left handed hitters. Starting with DUNCAN. Ludwick will come out of it. His timing is just off a little and he will get it back. There is rumor of a DeRosa trade. You can bet there will be a trade. Tony needs to quit juggling the lineup!
  14. Make him choose were the 2010 roadtrip will take place and make him coordinate it!!!

That's nice one Roger! Nice pic and story too! CJ
  16. You would have thought they were fishing Falcon! A four day event and Bobby Lane just fell short of 100 lbs. 31 pros had over 20 lbs. the first day. Here's the link for the results: http://proxy.espn.go.com/outdoors/bassmaster/members/ldr/leaderboard?tournamentId=898

WOW!!! That is a full grown pig right there! Nice job Steve. CJ
  18. Yeah situation dictates. I been known to be humble and say," it's a little slow". But normally I use the same as Chris and Bizz and say I whacked em!
  19. This thread has been a long time coming! Don't older lakes get clearer water? Might not have understood?
  20. Confidence should come "during" a fishing trip. I always go with a neutral mindset. I've been let down so many times and I bet almost everybody has more than once. I'm going with Ghoti tomorrow on Ky. I expect to catch some fish but I'm not pushing my expectations. I can't "make" it happen, just let it happen if it's the day!
  21. Looks like swag to me...definitely not skunkweed! : ;D
  22. Yes Blaine, go kick their ass!!! Now you have some great material for ya'lls AOY acceptance speech at the awards ceremony. Man you two need to relocate to better tournament water. Is there an Angler's Choice region close to ya'll? Much more rewarding trail than clubs. Hate to hear about that guys. CJ
  23. Wow! I guess I should have only read half of the story...
  24. I think we all have hit this spot more than once. It's evident that the fish's needs change. They get hungry once they come off the beds! What I key in on the most is the bait. Not just any bait though. The fish are hungry yet I don't think there is ever a time a big momma becomes more effecient. I was a firm believer that the bass would take their time about going out deep. I thought as long as the temps allowed them to stay in shallower water, they would stay. Large schools of a larger class shad will trump all of the factors once they become hungry. Chasing shore minnows and gills will no longer do. Electronics come into play searching for those schools that relate to the right structure. Before I knew it last week, I was catching quality fish 15 ft. deep that still had bloody tails. All of them coming off rockpiles, not brush.
