Lews Super Duty
What its made for! I have it on my jig rod!

Your Setup : Chatterbait , Spinnerbait , Swim Jig ?
I use the same for chatterbaits and spinnerbaits. a MHF SC Triumph (upgrading to a Dobyns D734/5 soon), I like to use a 6.8 Lew's TMB-LFS. AS far as the swimjig, I just use my jig rod, a DX745 with a Lew's SuperDuty 8:1 All have Seaguar Red Label

Lews Tournament Pro
Tournament pro is a great reel, and the Tournament Speed is not much less for quite a discount. If you want to spend less, you aren't really missing out all that much. If you are gonna put the TP on a set up you use a lot, then that;s the reel for you.

Temple Fork Outfitters
I had the 6'6 MF action, broke an eye off catching a 3lber, simple fix though. I did like it, nice rod, light and balanced, good rod for the money.

Flipping Rod
Get a Dobyns Champion D765FLIP! It's what I'm upgrading to this summer!

Jerkbait Topwater Rod
For treble hooks, I use braid on a moderate action, mono on a fast action rod. For single hooks, braid on a fast action. The way I look at it is that treble hooks need stretch, and single hooks need power. And it can either be in the line or in the rod, your choice, because it's more about confidence than anything.

Lews Bb1 Pro Vs Tournament Pro
BB1 for cranking, TPro for everything else.

Dobyns 634/5Cb
Anyone got one? Going to get one soon for jerkbaits and topwaters.

Need A New Crankshaft
My cranking rod is a Veritas 2.0 7'6MHM, it's good. You don't need all the sensitivity for cranking. For me, that's a rod that will work until money isn't an option haha ($45 wasn't a bad buy either). I have never used a dobyns cranking rod, but I love their other rods. A friend of mine has one and raves about it, I'm sure he'll be on this thread soon enough.

Fenwick Elitetech Smallmouth 6'9" M-Xf Spinng -- What Would You Use This Setup For?
I use it for finesse plastics. I have it pair with a Pflueger Supreme XT, use SX1 braid and 8lb Invizx leader. Mostly throw weightless senkos, wacky-rigged senkos, t-rigged trick worms, shakeyheads, dropshots, and tubes. I'll let you know if I forgot anything haha

Topwater Popper, Spooks Require This Line
unless it's sunny and clear water (ie never in my neck of the woods), I use braid, no stretch is nice for walking the dog. Might consider a mono leader this season though, never hurts to try.

If You Could Only Have One Combo?
Well, I have the rod already, Dobyns Extreme DX745, pair it up with a Lew's Team Pro Speed Spool.

Abu Garcia Veritas
I have a 2.0 cranking stick and it's pretty good. I used a 7' MH and it was a broomstick, I can attest to the overrating of the... rating. I would genuinely suggest them to any angler for anything but bottom contact.

Size And Line Type
12-15lb Seagaur RedLabel is what ive been using.

Who Knows Dobyns Rods? Need A Spinnerbait Rod.
I'd get the D734. In fact I plan on it eventually. I was actually talked down to the Champion by the man himself (Gary Dobyns).

Lew's: What Is Lfs, And Why The "in Between" Ratios?
That's interesting. I was kind of hoping they were a bit faster as well, guess not then.

Topwater Rod And Reel
I had a TFO 6'6 Medium, until I lost an guide on a "20min until the weigh-in" bass. Had it paired with a Lew's TP 7.1:1. Going to buy a Dobyn's Champion D634/5 in a few weeks, will eventually pair it with a Lew's Lite.

Fenwick Elite Tech
YES! I love it! One of my favorite setups! I've got the ML, I use it for finesse plastic stuff, with braid/FC leader. I have ordered from Purefishing, and they were a bit late on processing and I was in a rush, but no other probs.

Best Application?
Mono: topwaters, cranks Braid: buzzbaits, finesse plastics and topwaters FC: Jigs, spinnerbaits, chatters, everything else Copoly: Cranks, swimbaits

Quick Glass Rod Question
Treble hooks! I've used it for buzzbaits too, but I prefer my medium premier.

Any Takes On The Ike Series Rod?
This is awesome! I really like the videos TW has added to each rod description. I think I'll purchase a flippin stick if they've got one.

Need Advice Choosing My First Baitcasting Reel
yeaaaaah! Lew's Speed Spool is great. Such a good reel for the money. A friend of mine like to say that Lew's biggest mistake was making their low-end reels so good. BB1 is a great reel as well, so is the tournament pro. You can find plenty of stuff on this board about those two.
-
Finesse Worm Setup
I use a Fenwick 6'10 ML spinning rod and a Pflueger Supreme XT with Sunline SX1 yellow and 8lb Invisx FC It's my bae haha I'm probably going to purchase a Dobyn's 702 and a Lew's Tournament Lite this summer or the next.

Best Reel Under 200 Dollars ?
Get a Lew's Tournament Pro or a BB1 hahaha
