5xd and 6xd deep cranking rod opinions.
I found that the 7'6" MH/M Veritas winch was a bit too light for 6xds. I personally use a Dobyn's 806cb, but that's out of your price range. Also, since the Fury is right in your price range, I would NOT recommend it, it's just too light in my opinion.

What rod next?
Champion rods are pretty good in my opinion. In terms of quality per dollar, the fury really is a good rod. Fishnkamp and I are always touting how good dobyns rods are. If you dont want to pay full price, always check out the mislabeled amd refurbished rods from Dobyns website. Outside of dobyns, the SC Avid is phenominal.

When do I use a buzz bait over a buzz toad like a ribbit style frog
Buzztoad is more for fishing around heavier cover.

Flipping Rod for Frogging?
Ive started using my dx745 for frogs, i like it quite a bit, just wish it was shorter.

Where are all the Illinois Guys ?
Prefished Vermillion today, talk about a tough day. Flipped chocolate milk all day, no visibility what so ever. They werent biting anything, the three of us threw jigs, plastics, spinnerbaits, squarebills, chatterbaits and a buzzbait. Water has cooled down to 65, so im guessing they're in that awkward post spawn phrase.

New Lew's BB1Pro
Only one of mine does. I sell plenty of them at work and get zero complaints.

New Lew's BB1Pro
Interestingly enough, one of my BB1s is rather loud compared to the other, perhaps that is a big problem

New Lew's BB1Pro
If anyone saw it, Lew's posted on facebook about a new BB1 Pro: "New and improved! For 2018, the BB1 Pro Speed Spool will be upgraded to a new patented QuietCast externally adjustable Centrifugal Braking System, a 20lb Carbon Fiber Drag System, an upgraded 95mm skeletal aluminum handle with the new Lew's Custom Round EVA Power Grip and a rich caviar black finish. The upgraded and improved BB1 Pro will continue to retail for $199.99. We have lots of new-for-2018 introductions, but all we can say about them right now is, "Wow!". Stay tuned." Not a big fan of the EVA Power Grip. But they added 6lb to the drag, which I can see a few people wanting. Anyone know anything else or if they'll be introducing some new ratios for RH and LH?

Funny how that happens. I support Fishnkamp's recommendations, not gonna make a long post and post the same stuff/

Can you buy it with American dollars tho? And that's interesting, I didn't know Doyo made their own reels haha.

Rod taper for swimbaits?
I'm not sure how much help this will be, but from what I've seen, I'd be happy with: Fury 806SB Lew's BB1 Pro (especially now they are releasing a new one) P-Line CXX 20-25lb To answer your specific question, generally heard fast action, but I think swimbaits are like spinnerbaits, it's either fast or mod-fast depending on who you ask.

Bps carbonlite 2.0 or lews tournament mb
Lew's has some of the best customer service in the market. And they are made in the same factory. I'd personally go for the Lew's, or the cheapest of the two reels I can get.

Which Lews Reel for 10XD?
Either go with the BB1 5:1 in LH or the Super Duty 6:1 in LH. I've got the BB1 and it works fine with 10XDs, going on year 2 or 3 with no issues. Lew's does have the multi-stop in 5:1 in LH. If you can wait until Sept, they are going to release a new edition of the BB1 Pro, if they release a LH 5:1 version, I'd check it out. If you are interested in a SuperDuty wide spool, send me a PM.

Spawn Tips
I've been using a C-Rig a lot and I've been thinking of throwing a SKT shellcracker on it, it's a bit too late to do that in town though.

Rod for Spinnerbaits and Topwaters
I've got a 703 and it's great for spinnerbait <1/2 and topwater baits. I have a tendency to like lighter powered rods, so my vote it for the 683.

Deep cranking reel
I'd go with the premier then. I'm not a big fan of the Orra line

What color did you get? I'm getting the bass and ayu.

Deep cranking reel
Are you looking to buy a new one? I'd use the BB1 Pro over the Winch, but that is under the assumption that they have the same gear ratio.

I was on TW and the monkey put some carolina stuff in my cart. Also got some Megabass Magdrafts in there too.

Magdrafts
This year is the year of the swimbait for me. Was placing an order for them just now and realized I don't really like the color choices. I'll be fishing in the Midwest and mostly smaller ponds (5/7 days a week) and a few larger lakes (1-2/7 days). Thinking the bass color and something shad-like, such as Ayu or Black Silver shad. What do you guys have and like?

What new method do you plan to add to your arsenal this year?
Big swimbaits and the carolina rig. I did jerkbaits last year and I have confidence in them after this spring.
