Anybody use a Berkley Bionix Rod?
Yup, I like the bionix rods. I have two (casting and spinning) 6'6" rods. For the money I paid for them they are great ($14 each). I have used them all last season without any problems. You can't go wrong with them for $10!!!

BPS Rick Clunn Rods
Well with our very first snowstorm of the year, I made my way to Bass Pro and Picked up some "needed" items. The baitmoney put a lashing on me. I bought a 6'6"M BPS Extreme Baitcast Combo--$99. I have heard a lot about the Extreme rod but not much about the reels. Just wondering what you guys think of that combo? Also, I bought a Rick Clunn 6'6" M with moderate tip for cranks--$59. I have never owned this rod before either, but it seem light and sensitive for the money. Just wondering what you think of these items.

Kia and Hyundai cars
Yeah, it does sound like decent deal, but remember that just because its new doesn't mean that its the best option for you. You might want to get a used car for the same price and get a LOT more options with it. Just because its new, doesn't make it better.

what do you tow and with what???
Tow a 17' Basstracker tx with a 50hp merc. behind a 2004 Ford F-150 5.4l auto w/ tow package. Hopefully someday I can get a nice 20' Ranger or something that might make good use of all the ponies under the hood. As for now I'm stuck with an '83 Basstracker.

ebay
I have bought all types of items on ebay and I only got hosed once. It was for $80. The product did not work when I got it (electronics). The seller would not work with me in returning it and I wasn't about to pay for shipping (again) back to him. I paid for it with my visa and I just called the number on my card, I told them what had happened and they took it off my bill right away, no questions asked. Excellent customer service. I won't buy anything online unless its on a visa. So I feel pretty good when I buy stuff online knowing the credit card companies have my back.

Can't wait for summer
Well today I went and bought a bunch of crankbaits at Dicks Sporting Goods. That might hold be over for a couple of days. ;D Also I DV-R almost every fishing show that get aired on tv. Then, when a really big fishing craving sets in, (and i'm broke) I watch fishing shows. It seems to help pass the time until spring.

Need Help with Windows Movie Maker
I thought that I would ask you guys because you seem to be making videos all the time. I am using windows movie maker, and my problem is that when I go upload my video to a web hosting site it won't allow it because the website does not support that type of file (.MSWMM). So my question is how do I, either convert it to a different type of file or save it differently, to allow me to upload my windows movie maker videos to a webhosting site? Thanks for the Help.

M or MH for Crankbaits?
I'm looking at getting a St. Croix Premier PC66MM for crankbaits. I was just wondering what you guys think of it. Also, should I be looking at the Medium Heavy instead of the Medium power? So far I'm liking the M but I was just wondering what you like for you cranks. Thanks

Fire Extinguishers for Boats...
The fire extinguiser that I use for my 17' Bass tracker (50hp) is one of those smaller ones that I bought for like $15. It mounts really nicely on the side of the steering column. All Boats Under 26 feet in length are required to have one B-1 fire extinguisher on board. I would say, get one that meets the standards set by the coast gaurd and get another one or a bigger one if it makes you feel more comfortable having more than one or two on board.

Ever buy a new boat out of state?
I have never purchased a new boat/vehicle out of state but I have heard that some states make you pay their states sales tax on the new boat/vehicle on the day you buy it at the dealership. Not sure if its true but I have heard that before, so that is something to check into.

My dream car...
This what I used to drive. It absolutely flew!!! But it wasn't too practical for Nebraska winters. I sold it to get a truck and a boat. It was tough, but I think that was my first encounter with the bait monkey. ;D

Divison III BB Team Scores 201 Points
Yeah, its unreal. A D-3 COLLEGE team scored 201 Points in ONE game in a tournament . Here is the story below. That other coach must really suck to give up 201 points in one basketball game. http://www.d3hoops.com/releases.php?release=6558&scoreboard

Building A Pontoon Boat
Sounds like something that I we did only yours is on a smaller scale. We built a 12' x 22' "party barge". What we did was to buy some old pontoons and then we built a frame over the top of it. We used wide and long pieces of wood, 1x4's? on top and 4x4's under the bottom for the frame. It looks like a huge floating deck and it looks a lot bigger since its on a 7 acre sandpit ;D. All it takes to push that beast around is a 50lb thrust minn kota.

Thanks for all the great advice! I have quite a few baits so I will probably take The_Natural's advice and buy in bulk.
