  1. Yeah, should of put "scored" in quotes the first time...
  2. ...and just like that the Mavs "scored" an improbable lottery win! Sheesh!
  3. I started using sun gloves (along with the shirts) years ago and have never looked back.
  4. Walkers/ Poppers - 12 ln mono. Frogs 50 lb braid
  5. 150-200 size reel. 7:1 - 8:1 gear ratio. 50-65 lb straight braid, full spool. Done.
  6. Into the tray they go and there they stay. Trailers and all.
  7. It's not a headache if you use quality line. Yes, its expensive, but imo worth it. I prefer Sunline Sniper.
  8. Buzzbaits. I have a few I've thrown over the years when conditions seem appropriate, however the success rate has been abysmal. Any other topwater bait (walkers, poppers, frogs, etc.) I have had great success with.
  9. LC LV 500
  10. Another vote for the Curado 200 E7. I own a handful.
  11. Yes, it turned into an obsession very quickly. Then a side business. Now it's a part time gig to do "leisurely" when demand warrants it. Nothing quite like creating your own baits that knock the snot out of them!
  12. Yes. My own. I have been making my own baits for over a decade now. Still sell wholesale a little bit too. I make it all; worms, lizards, creatures, craws, swimbaits, etc... However before I started making my own I used a few different brands. I got it down to a select few; Roboworm, Yamamoto and Zoom. Robo for finesse worms, Yama for Senkos and Kutails and Zoom for Lizards, BBH's and other misc. Settled on Big Hammer for swimmies.
  13. 2. California and Mexico.
  14. "Chronado. I like that. I assume you mean the white 200e series". Yup. Those are the ones. They took the Curado E series, slapped a new paint job on them and called them Chronarchs and called it a day.
  15. My entire line up consists of almost all E series Curado's, a Citica and a "Chronrado". They just have that certain "mojo" to them.
  16. My go-to before the Vision 110 was the LC Pointer 100 in Ghost Minnow. The thing flatout catches fish.
  17. I have a top 3 that have probably accounted for 80%+ or so over the last couple of years: 1. Walking Topwater (Sammy/ Gunfish) 2. Underspin W/ Trailer (Coolbaits/ Misc Plastics) 3. Various Plastics in T-Rig, Weightless and D-Shot Honorable mention to Jerkbaits (Vision 110/ Pointer 100)
  18. That's actually a great picture imho...
  19. My personal GOAT reel. Not the fanciest thing ever, but for me they just have a certain mojo. Set it and forget it, no worries reel. I have several E series in multiple sizes and still prefer them to this day over any other CU Shimano has put out.
  20. Some of you guys are pretty lucky to have had so few break over such long fishing careers. I broke one "testing" the parabolic action by hand (high Stick). One by boat flippin' a fish (HS). One by snap casting a Swimbait. One by casting an A-Rig. One by jamming it in my in truck cab. One I have no idea, just noticed it was broken taking it out of the rod sleeve. Those are just the ones off the top of my head and I try and take care of my gear. I don't feel I'm particularly rough or careless with it.
  21. Vision 110's the King? Probably. I just recently got rid of all my Jerkbaits that weren't 110's or Pointers to make room for more.
  22. Burn it (Orig. Bill Lewis), Yo-Yo it (LC LV500).
  23. I almost exclusively fish an Underspin instead of a Spinnerbait these days. Just sold off all my A-Rigs and most of my big Swimbaits along with some 300-400 size reels. I leave the heavy lifting fishing to my Tuna fishing.
