First Time Using Onetens..... WOW!
Don't forget the Mighty Bite™️

What was or is your favorite baitcating reel?
- Is the Texas Rig one of your confidence baits ?
It IS my all time number one confidence bait! My answer for any "If you could only have one"... threads.- Spinnerbait breakage, normal range of wear and tear?
I once "retired" what had to be a 100+ fish Spinner Bait. If I had a bait last 10 or so fish before it broke I wouldn't be upset though. Sounds like you got your money's worth. I mean, if you fish long enough you're gonna lose lures on the first cast. Lures are to use and sometimes lose.- Do you seal the cork on your rods with a cork sealer?
Nah, I love the way cork looks when it gets "weathered".- Inline spinners for bass
When I was a youngster, it was one of only two lures I used, the other being a plastic worm. Mepps Aglia was my favorite. I would throw the spinner first and stay with it if it was being hit. If not, switched to the trusty old plastic worm.- Whopper plopper
Any color for me as long as it's the 130 size. That size seems to make a distinct sound different than the other sizes I have used and it gets crushed while the others get ignored.- If I could only have one…
- What weight sinker do you most commonly use to Texas Rig?
3/16, 1/4, 3/8 for 99% of my fishing. I only go heavier in strong winds.- Your Go-To Lure
T-Rigged Plastic Worm- What is your favorite grip
Cork. Always.- Plastic Worms For 2024

Worm & Lizard- Is it better to have a better reel or rod?
I would say Rod in most instances. However, as @Tennessee Boy eluded to, having the "right" rod vs. having a "nice" rod is key. I have $100ish rods and reels and I have $600+ rods and reels. The "nice" rods and reels are very specific to what they are used for so I feel they are also the "right" rods and reels as well. There is a point of diminishing returns. The key is finding that balance and return on investment for yourself personally.- Are you a hammer?
What are we talking; framing, finishing, ball peen, sledge...?- How do you cope with no anti-reverse switch on new spinning reels?
Don't back reel, so I never used it.- How many days did you fish in 2023
Every year in the new years fishing resolutions thread I always answer the same thing; go fishing more! This year was not the case. I did have my personal best Tuna fishing trip and perhaps my best Jerkbait fishing bite I have ever had states side. I have exactly TWO hunts under my belt so far. So once again, next year I hope to have more days in the boat and the blind!- Dedicated 5” Senko casting rod … ?
Tater Salad!- New Jig Color
- Can someone please explain why I would use the first hook versus the second hook?
Those are the two hook I use 90% of the time for soft plastics. I would 100% use that offset RB worm hook for Trick Worms.- Share Your Favorite Spinnerbaits
No pics, but I like Pepper Customs Clearwater Elite in Purple Illusion.- Why do people leave their lures just hanging there when not in use?
My OCD would not allow this. Hook keeper every time.- What line for jigs and Texas rigs?
10 lb for T-Rigs, 12 lb for Jigs. I like Sunline Sniper for both.- Favorite part of fall fishing
TTT for Autumn Equinox today. The cooler temps are my favorite thing about it. Good topwater bites don't hurt either. - Is the Texas Rig one of your confidence baits ?
