The Road To The Super Bowl 2018
Benjamin playing or not wouldn't have made a difference. He couldn't help fill in on the O-line. Taylor was running for dear life the whole game it wouldn't matter who was catching passes. The amount of knock downs/sacks he took was the issue. Explain how the browns problems are the coaching staff... I'm not saying Hue Jackson is a world beater of a coach but blaming him for the Browns shortcomings isn't where I would point. The front office might be the worst front office that's ever been employed in NFL history. They don't give the staff the players they want and their "draft analytic philosophy" that the front office employs has never worked and they are too stupid/proud to address their short comings. Look at the amount of franchise QB's they have passed over because "the front office didn't want them there". It's so bad that the past could years you are even hearing college player rumors that are rumored to be top *** picks staying in college for another year if the Browns get the #1 pick. Here's a crazy scenario.....NFL wants a team in London in the next 3-5 years...what if they just press the delete button on a lost Browns franchise and move an NFL team to London. Would anybody really care?

Dobyns Champion DC 744C Opinions
Yes , it will work fine. You aren't fishing anything heavy. The rod will excel at fishing rock piles and off shore brush piles in mid/deep water. Light laydowns and grass lines will be fine as well.

Dobyns Champion DC 744C Opinions
DX784c Mike Long Jig rod is a really awesome deep water football jig rod. That's what i would choose of the ones listed. DX795 is an amazing heavy duty rod.

Dobyns Champion DC 744C Opinions
Well....assuming you aren't getting a club discount, the champ 744 is 259.99. In 21 days the DX745HP will be 289.99...Personally, I'd wait and spend the extra 30$. The DX HP's are awesome. The new champs are nicer than the previous version but still not worth the 259 price tag if you're wanting it for sensitivity.

Zillion resale.
The only zillion variant it hurt was the OG Zillion. The Jdream and TD-Z aren't affected and I'd take either of those over an SV103 and I like the SV103.

Dobyns Champion DC 744C Opinions
He's asking about the champion 744. OP, the end of the month is the Black Friday sales at TW. Get a DX745 HP for 20% off and skip the champion 744c.

Do I need Evinrude lower unit lube/oil for the lower unit?
HPF pro is the best stuff and what you should be using in your lower unit of your Etec.

Trim issue
look for a cap /w a flat head top to it. Should usually need a larger flat head to open the cap. There should be a fill cap near the cylinder area. Don't just dump fluid in and call it good. You're going to have to bleed the lines and fill/bleed fill/bleed a few times. There's dozens of videos on youtube on how to do it.

Outboard leaking grease
I agree /w slone. Seals are shot. I can't tell from the pics what/where it is. Could be tilt/trim but it's hard to say. Trim the motor up, stand back a little, and take a better pic of what is actually leaking and where it's at. Replacing the seals is actually really simple on the tilt/trim. I'm not familiar /w your trim rods but generally you need a special wrench to get the caps off. Isn't that hard to get a hold of though. Replacing the seals is really straight forward. Make sure to replace all the fluid and bleed/replace /w new when you're done.

Optimax won't start when cold
First guess would be to clean the battery ring connections, make sure you're NOT using a wingnut, and get a bigger battery. OPTI's need a ton of juice to fire. Get yourself a 31AGM /w 1000-1150 CCA.

Sunline JDM FC Sniper Invisible Fluorocarbon Line
I've used it in 10# for weightless senkos. It's pretty awesome line but it isn't high viz or even close to being high viz like you would want to line watch. The green sunline sniper also isn't high viz. It's pretty much the same color as Mccoy mean green. Good line though. The only fluoro that I've ever used that I was very impressed by for line watching was the sunline flippin' FC that has something 12in of high viz yellow and 30 something inches of "clear" fluoro.

The Road To The Super Bowl 2018
Prior to last week Hundley had thrown a total of 11 NFL passes....lets give it a few games before saying he isnt any good. Signing kaep is pointless for Gb. They have 3 years tied up in Hundley . They might as well see what they have there because everybody knows their season is lost at this point. Plus… Green Bay lives and dies by the “next man up” moto. Kaepernick is most likely done until maybe next year.

NEW BOAT question?
No, the fortrex won't effect your ability to plane out. You will be adding an additional battery for the 24v Fortrex so there will be a little more weight in the back as well but it won't be noticeable. You're going to top out at around 36-37MPH /w a 60 on the back. You are under powering the boat. Generally, you should always get the max HP allowed for a hull for the best performance. In your case a 75 I think is max for it. You'll appreciate it if you fish larger waters. If you fish a lot of smaller bodies of water, then you won't notice it much and a 60 will suit you fine.

Fishing windy days
Get an Ultrex. Point the bow into the wind and you'll sit still.

Reel help please
I don't know the availability of discontinued BPS reel parts. Site sponsor DVT might know where or how to get them. They are a cheap replacement. I really doubt you need a new worm/pawl gear. It's possible but I would bet a good cleaning / break down will fix your issue. There's 43452345234 videos on youtube on how to do it. It's a pretty simple process and your reel will be better than new. If you aren't comfortable doing it, send it to DVT. Might be a hair over 20$ total.

Reel help please
worm gear and line pawl are not the same part. Top part in the picture is the pawl. Bottom part it the worm gear There could be junk built up on the right side of the worm gear or the pawl itself could be worn. Unscrew the pawl cap and pull the pawl out of the housing. Make sure you don't lose any spacers that are under the cap. clean it off. With the pawl out, inspect the worm gear itself that the pawl guides itself left and right. If there's something stuck in there, clean it out. If you are cleaning your reels 3-4 times a year, you should be pretty well versed in breaking them down and removing the worm gear. I would recommend doing that. However, if your definition of cleaning a reel is wiping it down and adding oil/grease a few times a year to spots, you're doing more harm than good.

What electronic mount are you using Carbon 12
Don't have a 12in carbon but do have a 9in graph up front. Balzout is definitely more sturdy/rock solid than the 2.25 larger ram mount and will never move once you lock it down. However...I prefer the larger ram mount because it gives me more options/adjustability to move it around. I fish similar waters as you + the river so I'm not out on a KY lake type rough water area and don't have the issues a lot of guys have /w the larger ram mount bouncing loose and moving around. Mine is rock solid. Also, the 2-3 weeks in the fall that I pretend to be a walleye guy on the river, I like to be able to extend that super tall Ram mount straight up so i can video game fish vertically jigging for walleye. If you're putting it at the console, I would go /w the BBT if mounting it above the steering wheel. Precision sonar makes a nice one but I just prefer the BBT. If you're side mounting it on the ledge next to you, I would go /w the Balzmount. Enjoy that new carbon Mike. They look sick. I've got a 50-60 piece jig order coming your way in the next month.

Merc motor won’t give me top speed
Fresh gas, new plugs gapped correctly, fuel filter, de-carb the engine....go over the basics. If you’re planing without issues your hub is likely fine. If your boat isnt going into slow mode or throwing any alarms, lack of accleration can be a sign of dropping a couple cylinders. Worst case sinero though. Go through the easy stuff first. Throttle linkage is behind the throttle arm and goes to the motor.
