  1. I use the same rod for those that I use for hollow body frogs in heavy slop. Dobyns 735c.
  2. XCS ran I think one to three or 0-3. The THKO wake bait has a really aggressive wobble. It isn't really a "wake" bait. It dives to about 2ft. Maybe more but I throw it on 16# line. It's an awesome shallow bait. Action is definitely better on this than the XCS200. Lucky Craft BDS 2 and 3. The 2 is nearly impossible to find but the 3 is still pretty easy to come by. Similar action to the XCS200 Bagley Balsa B2.
  3. "Rage Bugs". They don't even try to hide it... Usually takes 2-4 weeks to get stuff from here. Curiosity got the best of me when ordering some stuff from Ray's Stuido for reel dress up parts. Found some identical knock offs of the Evolve Kompak Craw that is hard to find too that I really like I'm going to try, too.
  4. Wait for black friday and get the megabass orochi XX Perfect pitch or Dobyns DX HP 745. Either will be around 225$.
  5. Hope at least one of you jumped on this gem. Cabelas goofed up their online prices yet again. They honored the last time they marked the ci4+ down to 49$....maybe somebody lucked out.
  6. Gears weren't aligning correctly when reeling. If you flipped the AR off and back reeled, the reel was then smooth as can be. After way too long of re-shimming the main and pinion in every combination I could come up with, I finally figured out the side plate bearing on the opposite side of the handle was popping out of the frame when reeling forward causing the main gear that sits in that bearing to back off a hair and it would re-seat it self when back reeling. Adding shims to the front and backside of the bearing won't help. You Can do one of 2 things to fix this. You have to shim the outside of the bearing to make it seat snug. Take some aluminium foil, put it in the hole, and then seat the bearing. Cut the excess /w a box cutter and clean up all the extra. All that should be shimmed is the outside diameter of the bearing. Reel is butter smooth again. Or....buy a new side plate. That's what a graphite side plate will do I guess...
  7. No kidding. My first 4 picks are either out/hurt or lost Aaron rodgers. My season in this league has been flushed down to never never win land.
  8. You'll need a unit capable of SI and Mapping. For using SI, trust me when I saw get the biggest screen you can afford. All your SI units will have mapping capabilities. I'm a big fan of lowrance and sonar chart live but lakemaster and it's depth/contour shading is pretty awesome.
  9. nope. The etched circle in the idle gear is larger than the diameter of the levelwind that butts up against the idle gear itself. Generally there are just rub marks where a shim or washer sits but the idle gear seems to have a circle just barely etched into one side as if a small ring is supposed to sit in it. Just can't find anything about it.
  10. Yes that's the idle gear. The circular pattern doesn't match up /w the worm gear.
  11. I gave it 3 weeks. Hundley Sucks.
  12. Pro tour, yes. Bfl/costa, no.
  13. Again, schematic does show anything on any of the 1000-8000 models. The schematic also doesnt show 3 shims that should be in there as well. Hence...why I’m asking.
  14. Can anybody tell me if there is something that is supposed to sit below the small drive gear pictured? My screw driver is pointing at the area. The reason i ask is because the drive gear itself has a circular ring/groove on top one side. Schematics show nothing. pics:
  15. No idea. Minimum requirement is 150 and max is 250. Doubt anybody on the pro tour level uses less than 200. Costas/BFL's you will find smaller outboards though.
  16. I wouldn't drive it again until you get it fixed. You could be damaging the teeth on the clutch and gears. Might just need the shift cables adjusted.
  17. Dredge dock rocker is something I have tied on 100% of the time. Guy makes the best jigs.
  18. Does anybody know the size of the bearing that Daiwa uses that sits in between the handle and on top of the AR bearing? I think it's 8x12x3.5 just want to make sure.
  19. B Fish N Tackle B3 blade bait. vibrates a little easier on a slow fall than a silver buddy and they make a lot of random sizes if you want
  20. Type in Daiwa Tatula CT 100 on Ebay. I can see 3 BNIB under 99$.
  21. You can find the Tatula CT's under 100$ a lot of places.
  22. PsychoDad
  23. Media: Denver's QB situation can't get any worse can it? Brock: Hold my beer.
