Best Trolling Motor Batteries
Instead of buying new batteries every year and keeping 3 batteries on your canoe at all times....why not just get a 24v TM.....?Down to 2 batteries, more power, batteries will last a lot longer.

FC or Braid for Chatterbaits
I like fluoro. I've used braid. Just prefer fluoro. Both work. The right rod is more important when picking lines.

Any one know a miracle worker
If you don't care about the look of a patch on your boat, you can very easily do it yourself /w a little time and elbow grease. There's a lot of youtube videos on how to do it. It won't look good, it will be ugly, but it will be solid. If you want it restored and have the gelcoat matched/repaired, it's going to cost you....a lot. As long as you have insurance(you should...), you should only be out the deductible. Taking a second look, that's going to be a massive repair /w the crack you can see above the larger one. I would file a claim and just drop it off.

Electronics Isolation
A 31g AGM cranking battery like the northstar, x2, deka, etc will solve your issues. Run each of your units on their own 10-12g marine grade wire directly to the cranking battery from the unit /w a 3a fuse on the + lead of each at the battery. This will solve your battery issues. Wayne has instructed a lot of people, including myself 2 years ago, that you should have your units wired like this. If you insist to keep a 5th battery and single charger for it, I would personally find a way to put it on the passenger side for weight distribution and wire the units directly to it but that could be quite the task. I do get your point though but doing it how I explained or simply keeping something like a weego jump starter, jumper cables, or even just wiring a switch that will allow you to jump your cranking battery from one of your TM batteries at the end of the day will be far easier and more efficient. Lots of Rangers come /w that switch but most marine vendors carry them. Very simple install.

What happened to the Tackle Warehouse Sale?
Instead of calling me a "mane caller" (yes, that's what you called me)via PM and accusing me of "spewing out info that is wrong" and "looking like a clown", perhaps you should do a simple search on how price matching works. I am in the process of ordering a few things so I called and spoke /w the same person at TW that you did. He assured me that they will in fact price match xxlandxxbigxxfish's sale price as long as (and I'm sorry if I assumed this was common sense, but perhaps it wasn't) both sites have the item in stock. So unless you know a different variation of the English language that I don't where "Yes, we will price match as long as you call in the order" means something else, they do indeed, like I said, price match sales. I, and others here, have used TW for price matching for years and am very familiar /w how it works. Before accusing somebody of something you don't understand, it wouldn't hurt to do some research.

What happened to the Tackle Warehouse Sale?
TW has the largest and the best prices/selection on the net. Those clowns that cry every time they have a sale and they are "disappointed" in an inexpensive tackle vendor being cheaper and "they should keep up with the times", are the same people that can't read TW's simple FAQ or pick up a phone to call them directly because something isn't right in front of their face. Spoiler alert...TW price matches any major retailer that isn't ebay or amazon. All you have to do is pick up the phone... I understand it's a difficult website to scan...so here's a step by step. I know...that was tough.

Ideas on getting my new iphone 7+ out of 7 foot of water?
That phone is long gone. A phone wont drop straight down. The water will grab it and it will shimmy different ways. Odds are its not in the same place you dropped it. Batteries probably dead.

breaking in my suzuki, any tips?
asking for opinions on how to break in a new motor on the internet. Follow the motor's break in procedure to the "t" per the manual. It's very important to do this correctly.

My new JDM Antares DC handle feel off
I wanted to say this as well but I wasn't 100% if shimano and Daiwa both shared a 10 mm nut. I thought I read Shimano was 11 mm but I wasn't certain.I thought I read Shimano was 11 mm but I wasn't certain.

My new JDM Antares DC handle feel off
I would contact the tackle trap for that. Probably could get you it quicker. Its just the drive shaft nut and cover/screw. Have them source you them and you can use any nut as long as its the correct size to get you by.

Field and stream?
We just had one open by us. It has one of the largest tackle selections I've see. Rod selection isn't the best but they carry some MB rods. Much better selection than any BPS or Cabeals, tackle wise, I've been to.

Word of caution when ordering items that "Ship from Vendor" from Gander Mountain with all the deals they have going lately....the ship to store and arrive in 2-4 days means that when it ships from the vendor it will ship to the store within 2-4 days. I took advantage of the 20$ off 100 and ordered the Ram D111-U for 80$ after the discount. Waited 2 weeks and it was still at vendor. Gander couldn't give any info on when it will ship and was unable to get a response from RAM for some reason yet I got responses from RAM when inquiring about mounts within hours....The bright side is they refunded me and money was back in account day of. Not bashing..just use caution if needing something quick.- Flipping and Pitching reel - Daiwa SV103?
May I ask what your magician's name/contact info is that made your SV103 only 6 oz? The rest of us have SV103's that weigh 7.8 oz...- Dawai Lexa 300 help!!
pull the spool out completely and re-seat the spool and put the side plate back on. It's a cheap reel and the tolerances aren't great relative to all daiwas. The spool shaft and "t" that holds the bearing in may have slipped out of the pinion and you're reeling against it. Any turning of the handle is damaging it though. There's a few other things to look at if that doesn't work. may need a new pinion/main gear but that's the last resort. It happens. Parts are in the schematic and just order them through Daiwa. if you can tie your shoes you can replace a main gear and pinion.- Flipping and Pitching reel - Daiwa SV103?
The SV103 will be perfect for what you intend to use it for.- Has the term "flipping" replaced the term "pitching"?
They are indeed two different things and you are correct. Lots of people confuse (or just don't know) the two or just use "flipping" to describe both. There's probably 20 posts a year on this forum about what the difference is and 10xs that on youtube demonstrating the difference between the two and yet there's still people that don't know. - The latest sale thread
