  1. I have the exact same rod with the Lew's Speed Spool on it. I have 12# yo zuri hybrid line on it. Last year I used it for light texas rigged baits and spinnerbaits with good luck. I plan on trying it out tomorrow with a jerkbait to see how it does.
  2. Living in the KC area and having the worst team in the NFL.... makes for an easy decision.. I am fishing!!!
  3. I just picked up a new Veritas Winch rod in 7' M power to use for cranking this year. I am pretty sure it has the moderate action. This is my first "crankbait" rod. What else can i use this rod for? I have it paired up with a Lew's Speed Spool in 5.4:1 Thanks Kyle
  4. I would look at the Lew's speed spool that sells for 99.00 and get 2 I now have 3 of them and love them!!!
  5. Is Melvern any good this time of year? Going to be in the 50s on Sunday (at least for now) and I want to get into some smallmouth bad!!!
  6. here is a thread that has a lot of info. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/25442-any-pelican-bass-raider-owners-out-there/?hl=%20bass%20%20raider
  7. I just picked up a Lew's Speed Spool in 5.4:1 today and paired it up with a Veritas Winch rod for under $200.00. The Lew's cost me 89.99 and I got the Veritas for 79.99. I think you will be impressed by the Lews. This will be my 3rd one in my lineup.
  8. Mine would have to be my 2 Lews speed spool reels and my 2 Veritas rods. They make for a great combo!!!
  9. I live in Kearney so I am not too far away.
  10. I am picking up a few packs of these to try out this year. Also picked up some of the craws to try. This will be my first year using the Rage line up.
  11. As long as they are in a straight line down the rod, I would just bend them back and start fishing. My Veritas that I bought at a store was the same way.
  12. I have 2 of the $100.00 Lews reels and love them. I don't see the need to spend the extra money. Use it to help fund a new rod to use.

    Nice Buck. Congrats!!
  14. TW sells them. Look under technique specific and then punching gear. Under punch skirts is where they are located. With that said, I am going to buy mine from real deal custom tackle. Great guy and great prices. He makes just the punch skirts by themselves or you can get them with the weight and skirt together.
  15. I have 4 in my line up and haven't had any issues with them. Can't beat them for the price.
  16. I would be happy to order it off of ebay and send it to you when I receive it. You can mail me a check when you get it from me.
  17. What about the Yum Pumpkin Ed stand up jighead? It is made to fish the yum mightee 10" worms. they have them available at TW. search by brand. Yum
  18. Nice fish Clayton! Sounds like I need to get out there soon!
  19. Zoom Super Speed Craw in blue berry color worked best for me last year.
  20. This is what I am switching to this year.
  21. loosen the spool tension knob and it will spin more freely.
  22. Thats just the way a baitcaster works. The line guide may have stopped on the right side of the reel while the line finished coming off the left side. When you start to reel it will become uneven. No way to keep it perfect.
  23. This is what I have on most of my rods. I keep one with braid on it. Also picked up some 6lb for my spinning reel.
  24. One of your other posts said you were getting the Revo in the mail soon, so I hope you picked it as being the better of the 2.
