  1. At least he said he was gonna do it with tackle...............................and not just sink it straight up!
  2. Nope....sorry. mine are working fine, even after latest update.
  3. I would hope that the Easter Bunny would bring them anything that I would use myself............that way if they don't use them.....I could.
  4. Me too......I really like the Tuf-Line Supercast but have to order it because I am unable to find it locally..........then the fluoro leader. yep.
  5. That is Great........I wish more folks knew how to do this......on all levels............been a steady decline ever since the 'me' generation. KUDOS to Wright McGill !!
  6. That is really cool ! Charlie Ingram........not the hat ;-)

Yep........1 ah crap can wipe out a thousand atta boys.
  8. Yes it is anchored into the concrete pad on one side...........and 2 or 3 foot rebar anchoring it into the yard side.....I slipped a row of red bricks under the side in the grass. I got the 7' sides instead of the 5' standard sides........so it will not slide under the eave of the house......my mistake there. But I like that I can stand on the boat while it is under the carport. We had a pretty strong night of winds last week............I heard the tarps popping....I was nervous about it wanting to leave......but it held just fine.
  9. 1k.......a grand.........a thousand samollians. base price is $595 for a 12'x21' with 5' sidewalls and just the roof covered. you can get the sides done for $150 per side.....I forget what the ends cost. I added 7' sidewalls.......that was extra......and the one unprotected side for $175.....then had to add cross braces.......came out a little over $1000 but very close to that. I have wanted one every since I bought my boat 3 years ago. I have a boat cover but always kept a tarp over it too....to protect the cover. anytime I wanted to tinker with theboat I had to remove tarp....then the cover......and put it all back. Doesn't seem like much but it got very old. Then there was the hail we get in the spring........and the snow that piled up on it. Now I just go out unsnap the cover, lay it back......when I'm done pull it back and snap it. very quick and simple. plus it is protected from the elements. I had one tarp and bought a 2nd one. then used bungee cords to suspend them in the ends.....not completely covering but will keep a lot off stuff out. And one big plus is that I do not have to choose between my truck and my boat when the thunderstorms and hail start this way. Almost forgot......and in less than an hour to build......them fellers were quick.
  10. More impatient and in more anxious ways than you know.
  11. Why 'everyone' does it...............is because the penalty is not high enough to make them worry about it. Our littering fine just doubled after many years to $500 I think..................make the fine something like $25000.......sieze their homes, cars, boats.............write the ticket and make them pay the fine...........after they prove to everyone that they are enforcing it, people will reduce the littering...............it will not eliminate it but will reduce it. I think the penalty for almost everything is too light........gotta get down off the soap box now.
  12. Make sure you wear your PFD! EDIT: Oh, and him too.
  13. I noticed the front hook had been removed from the crankbait........that might be an important step......to keep from imbedding the 2nd hook in the back of your hand. but I agree....kudos for taking the time to film it!
  14. Others with more insight will be along shortly..............but 25 yards or 75 feet seem good to me with 17# line and a 1/4 oz bait. But maybe we both need some educating........we will see shortly.
  15. I worry about that all the time. how did it fail?
  16. Beckie and I will make the banquet.
