  1. And the blood.......all of the blood........talk about nightmares. ;-) But I must say again.....thanks for giving me the chance to experience the horror for myself. Had you not taken the fishing partner you did that day, I would not have been able to have an enjoyable day.......are you sure the nightmares were caused by fishing with him and not that days fishing partner? Hahahahahahahahahaha.
  2. Added to prayer list.

Try going into the internet options, select the advanced tab and reset your browser.
  4. Sounds like your right on point, pal. While I like the current site........the changes you have outlined will make it even better. And while free is nice......nothing is free......someone is always picking up the difference. I think your pricing is very fair if not leaning towards favorable for the buyers. I vote for your very fair pricing and then add the shipping on. I don't think the shipping is out of line either......very fair. Not a biggie, but, the only thing I would request is allow me to add as many items to my cart before sending me to paypal if you can. Maybe make an option to checkout? Chris
  5. Yep.....absolutely! Roll in the boat tool kit.......roll in my desk at work.....multiple rolls at home.
  6. My fuel line cracked at the brass fuel line connector on the fiberglass well area. Could not see it very well as it cracked on the bottom of the line. It would be fine.......then it would flex a little and suck air.........quite the feeling humping across the water at 40-50 and all of the sudden......motor just dies. Easy emergency fix......cut the end of the line off and put it back on and tighten clamp. Then replace fuel line at first opportunity.
  7. No problem........there was not 'that much' blood. Besides....we will have a paramedic with us, eh? :-)
  8. Sorry, I have not fished down there. Have you tried in the regional board here on the forum? http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/forum/13-central-bass-fishing/
  9. Hope you get things resolved quickly. Looking forward to maybe getting to fish with you again!
  10. Gotcha.........I agree with that concept. That is what I have found too........I can noticed that by building a boat online....prices give you no break at all......a couple of items are priced comensurate but for the most part you are right on. thanks guys Chris
  11. Boat gets on plane quickly.......you usually cruise at 45 mph (so do I )......if you could go back and do it over, would you bump the motor up or still keep the 200 HP ?
  12. Glad you're feeling a little better. Stay on the healing track pal. Chris
  13. AMEN! And Trash. There several things that may be bothersome........but Jet Skis I Hate. I know not all of them are like that.....but I would say the vast majority of them are the most discourteous watercraft operators on the water. When I took my boaters safety class two years ago.......the trooper said that a lot of states were dealing with fisherman pulling guns on jet ski operators, but we were not having these issues here in OK. I kind of chuckled under my breath and dismissed it. My first time out on the lake 2 weeks later........I encountered the jet skis. By the end of the day I reflected on the troopers story and said out loud, "now I know why people are pulling guns on jet skiers." We have road rage on the roads.........people hurting people while shopping on Black Friday........and soon we will hear of wave rage on the waterways........more respect for everyone from everyone. Still hate jet skis though.
  14. You're welcome. I am not a very good shopper........probably should have done more tackle vs the non-tackle stuff........but I like to have little things around that remind me of fishing.......especially the functional things like 'da cup to hold your morning java, tea or soda pop. Glad you liked it.......Merry Fishmas Chris
  15. We have wind chill here...........you appear to suffer from wind warm there!Man I wish I had a job in Florida....:-(
  16. Will do....I appreciate the help. Thanks Chris
  17. Welcome from Broken Arrow.
  18. 2001 Procraft pro 185. My livewells circulate for a while when on constant or timer........problem is that at times when it stops I have to turn it off and or press the circuit button...at times very difficult to keep running. Any ideas where the problem is? Pumps? Switches? Thanks Chris

  20. My wife is on her way to the Post Office as I write this to submit my gift/package to the US Postal Service for Delivery.
  21. As I understood it I was going to need a hub to network my units if I bought Humminbirds and the Lowrance would network with just a cable. Not to say Humminbirds are not good.......in fact my first unit was a Humminbird and I liked it....it was not networkable though. I think in my mind Lowrance stood for sonar.............kind of a standard. You hear it both ways but that is where I was in my thinking. I like the options available for Lowrance and their connectivity. I am excited about the new front looking spotlightscan too. I bought my Lowrance 7 Touch with the structurescan transducer. The touch units have the structure scan module built in.....so I could use my other HDS unit with structure scan by sharing the transducer. I am not by any means an expert......there are others here that know a lot more about it and I respect their opinions a great deal. As I understand it......the structure scan is Lowrance's down/side imaging. But you might check with the other guys to get more detailed information..................if you have not done it yet you might do some searches in the forums and online. Good luck
  22. I was in your boat (no pun intended) last year. Did not know a lot about the sonar units. Do as I did and do a lot of searching here and the internet about the units you are interested in. Feel free to ask questions. I do not like it when a salesman is 'pushing' anything. After much deliberation last year around this time I had finally narrowed it down and bought a Lowrance HDS 7 touch online when I found a great deal. But I had already decided I wanted it before I found the deal. Then I found a Lowrance HDS 10 Gen 1 at BassPro later that day.........regularly around $2500......on sale for $999. I snatched it up but not before I asked if I could return it for a 100% refund. Not any technical advice here.....sorry. YOU need to decide what YOU want, for whatever your reasons are for wanting it. Or you will not be happy with them. Don't kick yourself for not buying it........in my opinion you did the right thing. Good luck.
  23. I do not know if there are different 'sections' or not so I am no help there. The name of the place is The Doublehead Resort. Call 1-800-685-9267........give them a shout. They were very friendly answering my questions both by email and phone during my inquiries and reservation confirmation.
