My dad has had his extreme spinning rod for 10 years. It got shortened down 6" by a car door about 8-9 years ago and he still uses it and out fishes me haha.

I have it on three set ups. Awesome stuff.

Even though I have watched every single "The Office" episodes twice, they still make me laugh. Series finale was awesome. The walking dead is my favorite show as of now. 2 seasons on Netflix. As stated above workaholics is really good but there is only 10 episodes. SOA is and awesome show to. I wish that they would get better movies though.

2 more days. Then it's fishing every single day of the summer. 6:30am till 8:30am topwater in a lake with so much weeds. Then 9:00am till 8:00pm in the bottom lake throwing cranks, craws, 8" Hudds.

I don't know why it got to me so bad. I guess it was to the two hours of sleep before finals.

I have a couple duckett micro magics which are seriously light. I haven't tried any other micro guided rod so I don't know how much weight it reduces. I mostly use the medium and it is seriously sensitive. I beleive that sensitivity mostly comes with the line but these rods are sensitive.

I love the 12# in clear. Awesome sensitivity when used as a leader with 30# PP.

Spawn is basically done here. All we have is the late spawners and for some reason the late spawn females are getting together with small males. And the females are huge. It's fun catching them off of the bed isn't it? It gets really frustrating sometimes to haha.

When I say beaten, I mean spanked. I could see how someone could misinterpret that.

I totally agree on the butt whooping thing though. I was still beat as a child and that wasn't that long ago. My dad still did it haha.

I was just wondering, what age group are you guys referring to? I'm not trying to be rude but I say yes sir/mam, no sir/mam. I do notice that a lot of kids my age do not respect anyone these days. It apauls(I think I spelled it wrong) me to be honest. Kids at my school curse like crazy and have no respect for anything. I'm in highschool, I thought the seniors here would at least have some sense of respect but they don't either. I was raised to respect anyone and everyone. Even if they are an a**hole. If an adult tells me to do something I do it. I understand why you guys would be mad and I think everything you guys have said is true, but not every kid these days is raised that way. Again, I was not trying to be rude. It's also the parenting.

My friend started throwing topwater since February and he has been catching fish somehow haha. You can catch some huge bass topwater in December slow rolling big topwater swimbaits.

That's why I have the code enforcements number in my phone. He will come if be is not busy. There are many live bait fishermen. Kids/adults leave trash everywhere. It disgusts me. You could have taken a picture or video of them, that probably would have helped. Good to hear you said something though, not many people will say anything because the feel uncomfortable about it.

The 6" weedless is a good bait. They did have it on TW for a little while then took them down because of stock I guess. I bought three of them and the quality is ok. The 8" ones have amazing quality. I'm going to get two weedless ones. One to fish and one to keep because they will be worth a good amount of change one day.

8" huddlestons hands down. I'm getting some in a couple of weeks. But recently I have been catching numbers and size on a yum dinger wacky rigged. But that's for my lake. I don't know about yours. Anything big I would say. Just find out what they are eating and get a bait that is the same color and get it in a big size. So that way it looks like the forage and its bigger. Just my opinion.

I really look forward to following you on your quest for giant bass. I read this book during the school year for an independent reading test and I loved it. I've read it twice already. Me and my dad have a gheenoh which is perfect for hunting big bass because it is so stealthy and quiet. I'm going to try these techniques also this entire summer. I will be out in that boat every single day of the summer. I wouldn't mind taking two even four weeks dedicating to fish this way. Good luck and tight lines.

same here except most if not all have full count. I can see where people have helped themselves and took some out of a pack though.
