  1. this sums it up pretty well. she can have any friends she wants, but when they start to act up, she also knows that I reserve the right to knuckle up
  2. I don't recall saying I blame my problems on any one thing in particular, but thanks for the insight. I am looking for what peoples opinions are, because if this is overall a thing that I should just let be, I will, because I am considering both sides of the parties in the relationship that I am in, instead of just what I want. I appreciate the responses I have gotten from those that took the time to add to the topic. facebook aside, this could happen on any social media plateform, and while a lot of you either dont use, or dont like facebook this website is considered a social media platform.
  3. http://www.kenburbary.com/2011/03/facebook-demographics-revisited-2011-statistics-2/ there are far more non-kids that use facebook than 'kids'
  4. yeah i hear that, I like to keep in touch with a few far family and friends that dont like phones. btw, how are you doing?
  5. Always used Stren Org. love it, going to try Siffix Elite after hears all sorts of good things. I am about to say screw FC/Braid and just rock all mono like I did when I was a kid, cheaper and works the same from what I can tell.
  6. That is my stance on the matter, I say no also. Out of respect as well as just not needed for problems. In fact I hate a majority of social media sites as I feel they cause issues that just would never happen otherwise. A lot of people think my views on this are wrong, and I feel crazy and I am looking to see what others feel.
  7. Not sure who to ask, so looking for opinions on this matter. I am getting married, to a wonderful woman, can't wait and couldn't be happier. I know we have each had our pasts and have been open with each other, so that is not the real issue. In fact not sure if there is an issue at all, but looking for other opinions. Would you want your wife/girlfriend - husband/boyfriend to be friends, and to still have a relation with ex's, past lovers, etc. over social media like Facebook and others I keep my friends list down to very close friends and family, as I do not want people who I do not know or like to see my life, but I know not everyone feels this way. A lot of people I know love to 'creep' on people, which I feel is strange and uneeded, and in the end causes more drama than anything else. I know if trust is there I shouldn't worry, and trust is not the issue, it is just the fact that I do want to see someone everyday that use to do something to someone. Would you just ignore this issue, or is this something that has a valid cause for concern.
  8. Those are all you need to see for pictures! I have seen a lot of canoes, and never have I seen two personally that top those.
  9. to me, that requires two rods. if you only have two rods, you should get a Medium/Moderate for treble hooked lures, and a Meadium-Heavy/Fast for single hooked lures. that should cover anything you need. to further that, I would have two medium/moderate, one spinnnig setup for light cranks, and one baitbaster for heavier cranks. same can go for the medium-heavy/fast 4 setups can cover almost everything
  10. I will cast, and let sit for 5 seconds or so, then either pop it once REALLY hard, or give it a double pop, then sit it, and bring it back varying the pops in speed, and intensity, and also varying the pause. just make it unpredictable, if that doesn't work, make it a strict pattern. some animals key in on predictability, some don't
  11. It is something that you just know you are doing by feel. Depending on your gear you should be feeling every little part of the bottom. You will know if you are dragging it based on feel alone, if you feel nothing you are lifitng to high and fast. dragging is more of a really slow thing for me. For instance, when I cast a jig I dead stick it for a few seconds, then just drag for about a foot, usually that gets a strike, but that whole foot of drag you feel a sluggish tension form the lure on the bottom. Casting on the grass and doing it will help you sort of see what it should look like, just remember to drag slow and make sure you can 'feel' it.
  12. I have seen this done the right way, had friends from the marines that used to toss them in the bays, and all sorts of stunned fish would come up.
  13. That is not how it's done.
  14. For money, either find a private investor, or pitch it to a bank. before you do that however, make sure you have a well thought out presentation, have crunched all the numbers, and can answer all the questions. pretend the pitch is like an interview, be ready for the tough questions. remember you have to sell this, so start buffing up on your sales know-how, this could save your whole idea. might now be what you were looking for, but a piece of the puzzle anyway. good luck, nothing like working for yourself!
  15. I understand your elation! Glad it worked out, I hate when you loose the golden gun lure.
  16. I was apprehensive when I bought it, but it really did make the 15# Vicious FC less stiff, and cast a little better. I like it, still think it is armor all however, but will use it on my lines I guess as long as I use FC, but I feel like just using MONO for everything is going to be what I do, works best overall I feel. I believe once you re-spool you will see the difference. FWIW, once a week I use it to clean my rods, the eyes, the shaft and the reel. Works great, keeps the stuff working and smooth.
  17. Depends on what I am fishing, if it is a top water I will keep it lower and adjust while I am bringing in the fish. I like to keep it hard enough to get a good hookset, but not so hard that I would ever have to break the line. I actually do a lot of mico-managing of my drag with my spinning gear, and hardly ever touch it on my BC setups. I keep it pretty high on my BC's, heavy line, jigs, trigs, FC, I like a good solid stab with that gear.
  18. I will check that out Blue. All the poppers I have used I truly like the action that the 'thinner' poppers give. The fatter ones like the Hula-pop I do not mind, but I feel like those skip along the water too much, and they just don't have the overall wacky action the thinner ones have. ....going to TW now, monkey is calling. Side Note: I am getting married this Aug 25th, and I got a wedding check from an out of town relative in the mail yesterday, almost cashed it to buy gear hahahaha, then I woke up
  19. killed it with a good old Pop-R tonight, caught a 18" long, 13 inch around larggie at the end of the night, probably the heaviest bass I have caught this year. Love the Pop-R, simple and works and is cheap. However, I just might buy that megabass, poppers work so well for me it is so tempting
  20. yeah megabass is spendy, but you get what you pay for, they are awesome.
  21. Tough news, hope everything is alright with your situation, thoughts on you all.
  22. Going to Gander Mtn. after work today, looking to buy a few new top waters. I want to get at least one new popper, so toss out some suggestions, I have more than enough buzz baits right now fyi.
  23. I have mentioned this before, but does anyone else feel like KVD L&L is almost the same thing as Armor All? expect for the smell, it almost seems the same...
  24. All I can say is the hardest hits I have ever had all came on Buzzbaits. Love them!
  25. When ever the line, or feeling is anything other then normal, set the hook. Once you have more experiences you will no what we mean, there is a lot of meaning in that statement, but it comes from knowing what your line feels like normally, when there is nothing on it but a lure. Also, I find it helps when worm fishing, or jigging to leave a little slack in the line, so that when the fish takes the lure they will feel less resistance and you should end up with some more fish caught. I know it is tempting to set super hard, but usually with an exposed sharp hook a good sweep or tap will do it and result in a bettter set
