Is there any functional advantage of a longer center wire in 5 hook A-Rigs?
I remember when the whole deal started we stood in line to pay 50 bucks for some home made contraption because they weren't available from the bigger manufacturers. They all caught fish. I personally wouldn't pay HF prices anymore. The Yum/Scottsboro , Strike king or whatever's on sale will do fine. I have a problem with trying to get just a little bit closer to the brush pile. Although FFS helps save a few.

Longer wire and a bigger bait. Not a huge difference but 2.8 on the 4 and 3.3 or 3.8 on the center.

That's the one they bite the majority of the time. I personally use a bigger bait on the center wire. You can feel them bump the teasers at times.

Wake bait suggestions
The redfin has always been popular around here but most of them require a bunch of work to get them to run right and some never will. The Berkeley surge shad is the same style and works right out of the package. I like the old spro rat also. Strike king is bringing back the wake shad which should be worth a try

Quick spinnerbait poll...
Outside of the SV3. Never

Tatula elite AGS
This is what I have heard also.. but, it's only money. The rod will ship Monday.

Tatula elite AGS
It's the 7ft 3 MH casting rod.

Tatula elite AGS
I have a chance to pick up the all-purpose model. Does anyone have any experience with this model or the AGS guides in general ?

So I finally got some of the famous Texas Tackle split ring pliers - I’m a little puzzled though, the tooth/hooked point is not at the end but toward the middle and is fat rather than sharp, is there a functional reason for this?
Mine have the *** at the end like above, sure you didn't buy some kind of saltwater version ?

SC Victory Marshal vs Shimano Zodias.
I had F in casting and I still have the 6 10 UL Xfast .

What else do you fish on your crankbait rod?
Just Crankbaits. To me, a jerkbait rod make a better small topwater rod than a topwater rod makes a jerkbait rod.

Sanding down a bass mafia 3700 deep box 2.O
If that's the case I would solve that issue with a different box or the LIV bags. I have one of the older Bass Mafia deeps when they were black and orange and I hate that thing . True you could drive a truck over it but so could you with a Busbe and it doesn't weigh 5 lbs,

SC Victory Marshal vs Shimano Zodias.
I would go with the Zodias. I'm probably in the minority but I think the Zodias is a more sensitive rod than the Posion Adrena. The actions are different and I haven't fished the '24 but I wouldn't spend the extra $ if sensitivity was my goal. The Victory is a nice rod but I only own the crankbait model.

I would just pull the dividers out and use it like that.

When working a Jerkbait, do you want tension on the line at all times, and how important is parabolic bend?
There's no bait that bass bite like a stick bait. In the clear water around here I've watched them nose up to the bait and study it from both sides. I'd rather not see them but its fun to see

Medium power/fast action. The Falcon is labeled as a MH but the tip is medium . I use 10lb flouro.

I have too many but the ones that I have that are still available are the alpha Angler slasher and the Virtus jerkbait rod. I like the Falcon weightless worm rod and it's really popular around here also. One of the best stickbait fisherman on tablerock and bull shoals passed away last year and he use a old 5 1/2 ft pistol grip. Long before there was a vision 110 or a + or +2 he would pull the lips out of the old rogues and replace them with some of his on making to get them to dive deeper . I still have one he sold me but it stays at home in the man cave.

Nope. You always want to jerk it on a slack line. Don't drag it with the reel. I make the cast then give it a few cranks to get it down and let it soak. Then a couple three jerks and a pause and so on. They will usually get it on the pause. Honestly, it seems like your obsessed with the rod . It's you who's going to get them to bite or not. As to the Expride, I'm sure it will work fine. It's not my personal choice but that's not to say it won't be good for you.

Do you ever opt for translucent walking/prop baits when the water is low and clear and when you do is it also necessary to downsize?
I throw a clear Spook some. Water clarity doesn't matter all that much to me. A walking bait isn't what I would think of as a finesse bait . For me that's a popper. I use the smaller sizes like the Sammy in slick water the larger like the shower blow 125 with more chop. white or translucent on sunny days black with clouds or at night is a starting point.

What size Gamakatsu G Finesse Hooks are the exact replacement for the Vision 110 Jr. + 1?
Do what you think is best. Personally I'll stick with the outbarbs on a bait that gets swatted as much as a vision

What size Gamakatsu G Finesse Hooks are the exact replacement for the Vision 110 Jr. + 1?
I don't know why you would change hooks on MB bait that you haven't fished. I buy the Kausauge hooks that they use from the factory . They are a great hook. The other good one is the Diachi death trap

Do you need a dedicated jerkbait rod or can your MH “do everything” rod serve this purpose just fine?
I'm going to assume the guy your speaking of is Randy Blaukat. We are about the same age and fished some of the same derbies , He is a Table Rock guy also and I see him at the ramp some. I know he uses a whipsnake to throw stickbaits. I respect his fishing ability but when you make a statement that you will "wax' anyone with your spinning rod here in the Ozarks, I have to call it clickbait. The stick bait was invented here when guys my Dads age drilled out balsa Rapalas. I can tell you that you can shop for whatever rod, change hooks do whatever. It's the Indian not the arrow, You won't become a stick bait fisherman watching you tube.

Shallow Crankbait Suggestions
4ft or less I personally would grind a 1.5. I like the lucky craft but as much as I hate to say it the 6th sense 50 is a great bait. I have some old ones that I keep because they are pre Ben Miliken. I wouldn't buy a bait from them now. The new Bill Lewis ATV is also worth buying.

Shimano Poison Adrena 6'10" Ultralight/Medium Extra fast - anyone have one?
Yes I do. Wish Shimano would have left the ultralight rating off . I t fishes more like a ML to me but it's a cool little rod. I use it for drop shot and the minnow shaking deal.

The Falcon rods thread
The weightless worm makes a great jerkbait and floatin' worm/ fluke rod. I wouldn't use it for any kind of a T rigged bait. The tip is just too soft. If you stay with Falcon ,The head Turner is the one you want or if you don't mind the extra length the Amistad as was mentioned above. You may want to check out the Phenix feather in that lowrider price range ,I have the 7ft 1 heavy, it fishes about like a MH. nice rod
