. We used to have a small tackle shop. Once or twice a week,id stop in to visit,and talk about upcoming tourney,etc I bought my first baitcaster there and still have it. I would always buy something even if i didnt need it. West Quincy Tackle was a great little place. My time there was worth more than anytime in a BPS or CABELAS. You see, bps etc have become the walmarts,in the fishing industry. Pushing out not just the local tackle shops,but local business period.

Management are the last people id believe about anything:) If they said its raining,ill go check first. I highly doubt the keitech story. If any on here have said it, well show the proof if your word means anything? I can tell you this,the speed shad is a far less quality bait. But that just about all BPS sell now....

The drag is there for a reason. Allot of reels will feel sloppy,untill you set your drag. A properly set drag,may save you a fish of a lifetime. My drags are never set as tight as can be. If i need alittle more my thumb can handle that. Also if the reel is stored, back the drag all the way off

Thanks guys. Im currently revamping the amount i take with me. I can order various sizes of the exact same bags that others come in that are zip closed. Example: TRDs come in a bag thats 10 times bigger than needs to be. I have bags that are the same width, but are only 2inch tall. Its alot more compact. Ive bags 5x3,4x4,etc. They are laminated just like you get ,only no graphics on either side. Ill post up some pics, to show the difference when i get more done

It all depends on your budget. Are you throwin them on braid or mono? Im mainly a falcon rod guy,have been for 17 years,but the rod i always throw 1.0,1.5 is a 7ft ML CRANKIN STIK. Using 30pd braid(8pd mono diam powerpro),its been the perfect setup for me. Them 1.0 dont really get the kudos they deserve as they are fish catchin magnets. Always set the drag accordingly.

I can tell you,that prescrption glasses are the best way to go. Ive had the fit over type, and after wearing them for awhile the extra weight just isnt worth it. Also im one of those who wear a hat all the time. With the hat on and fit overs,they just dont fit very well. When its 95 degrees out. Between the heat and weight,it will drive ya nuts.My last pair of script glasses cost me 150.00, and it was money well spent

Dont beat yourself up over it. Just respool it back on the original spool it came with,using a bolt,and a drill. Now you got a spool full of leader material

After you cleaned the ar bearing, did you put grease on it? I put grease on an ar bearing once.And it did the exact same thing as your reel. After another good cleaning an a tiny bit of oil,it worked great. Otherwise as stated above, its money well spent to send it to DVT .

I just got a quick question? Since they are very soft,will the tails be ok if they are stored in a bag,thats about 1/2 inch to small? Thanks for your time

An 1/8 drll bit will take care of the airflow issue. 1 hole around the outside in each compartment. 1 hole in each divider. And dont put wet lure back until its dry, or open the box up when you return home. Ive been doing the for years, and no rust problems

Id give it a good try. Alot of people have just as good luck using round jigheads. So i think yours will work also. The fish will tell you what qualifies. Most people tend to want to bring fish in like the are using heavy gear,then complain about straighten hook. Must have forgot their reel has a drag:) Givem a good try and let us no

Hi- Im looking to get opinions, on what hooks your using. Ive check roboworms site, they recommend #2 rebarb hooks for the 4.5in straight tails. Are there others you recommend? I have the 4in and 6in straight tails. Just looking for opinions, and brands,model #s are a plus. Thank you in advance.

I would be using in a boat and shore. It only holds 6 of the 3600 size boxes. Back packs are out of the question:) Ive got a backpack,but dont usually have to walk 5 miles.
