I have Trokars and Owner. The owners cutting point, works just as well. Ive used them for years. I just cant justify the cost , of the Trokar.

I had a refresher course in life this year. My wife had major cancer surgery at 45. My mom&dads health declined even more. My dad 74,still fishes tourneys,but at times he needs help. This year,hes lost 2 rod setups, due too his ability to grip things,esspecially in the cold. He says hes done,once they are gone. I wont let that happen,as he taught me how to fish. Im going to be trading about half or more of my tackle for reels(he will only use a certain old shimano). I know in time they too will be lost, but the trade will be worth it in more ways than one. I was fortunate too fine a member in Bass Resource,to make this happen:) I will continue to find more of the same reels,just in case. What did i learn again? Just like fishin,things change, and you gotta change. My family is and always will be first. Theres always someone worse off than you. My wife is 100% cancer free so far ,i am blessed in all aspects. Im at work right now, on a very slow shipping day,what a nice day : )

Ive been using a BPS CRANKIN STIK, this year. And it has worked out really well.

I dont mind them. Just might wanna try to get used to it first. Price of a new handle an shipping might detour you. Try asking in the flea market section maybe. Heck i may even have an extra. i will have to look

The best product ? That would be you and your time. My dad 74 years old,and still fishes tournaments. I will change out line, tie leaders on,etc. What ever he needs ill do it. As stated above,you could try what WRB mention

I dont use any berkley cranks. I had a few berkleys in the past,and they were junk. These remind me of them to much to get them, cheap price though. Most of the color patterns are just to strange for me, but fish might diggem : )

my local farm&home store has all sizes of these on clearance for 3.00 and 2.00 also

Any reel with a quicker ratio, and good gears& drag. Theres some good deals at times in the fleamarket section at times.

Those BPS crankin sticks arent bad. If you have a bps close, take your reel with you

Car wax helps also, beforespooling up. Spraying the spool of line with Tangle free, silicone or blakemores.

I would start buy using epoxy first. Using any file on it will leave burs, no matter how fine the file is. Which likely will nick line. Hope it works out for you,good luck

Thats a manufacter issue. I just looked at mine, and it is very smooth. Yours has a definate slight lip, or edge to it.

I brought home 10 6pack of #8 Kvd short shanks for 2.00 a pack:)

You got some great baits there! Yes they are soft, but so are keitechs. Ive beeb using them for 3 years now, always have one tied on. 1. try rigging them backwards like an ika 2. a bottle of mendit, will be your friend! 3. experiment by cutting the skirt portion off, and attach it to a different color body. Makes for some killer baits. i won a tourney by doing just that. Your gonna lose some, and tear some. Its no different than fishin a keitech. Another great bait,,,,Damiki Finess Miki

1 Plastics small totes full. 2 Crankbaits 3700s full, some havent been open for 10yrs. 3 Tackle bags ,what the h**l wrong with me? 4 Empty never used storage boxes, again wth? Gonna be a major project this winter. Im gonna make up complete tackle bags. In 2017 ill be paying forward about 8 complete bags at time while out fishing. Thanks papajoe, it game on now

I made some out of 36in rebar, 1inch round. Had a solid 1 1/4 ring welded to one end. My grinder made the tip real nice. works very well,i never did way it though

They are desent baits. But i always end up sticking to my Keitech.
