Spinnerbait vs Bladed Jigs
I have yet to catch a bass with a bladed jig . I make a few cast , then get around snags and switch to a spinnerbait . Spinnerbaits are the right tool for the job where I fish . Other waters a chatterbait is the right tool .

Longest skunk streak?
I get skunked all the time . Make a few cast , no bites and leave . As far as no bass at all in a serious outing out of a boat for several hours , thats hasnt happened in years . I dont remember the last time I got skunked . edited: Ok . I think I remember my last skunking . It was out of canoe about 8 years ago on a river I never fished before . Seven miles and nothing . Havent fished that river since .

Fishing bigger worms?
I've been using 8 inch worms almost exclusively this year , they have been very effective .

Summer squarebills
There are no summer time lures . Squarebills work in the summer just like spring and fall . Summer time vegetation might make a square bill ineffective , then use lures that navigate vegetation well . Use the right tool for the job .

Largemouth - 80+ Degree Water and Bloody Tails
Maybe the dissolved oxygen content is so low the bass are hugging the bottom , rubbing their tails when they move .The ox bows I'm familiar with are pretty shallow .

Summer squarebills
Because the nature of the lake has changed I have not used squareblls at all the past few years . I use to throw them a lot in the summer , especially in standing timber . The timber has rotted away and is no longer visible .Still there but under the water line , just out of view .

Check out my trail cam.
A trail cam pic I got last week . No video though . My drunken cousins were seen on my camera and it hasnt recorded video since . I think they did something stupid then decided to erase it , pulled the card , erased the image and now its not recording .

buzz bait vs. whopper plopper
Buzzbaits . I think the hookup percentage is good with buzzbaits and they go places a Whooper Pooper cant . I am usually fishing in the thickest cover , not open water .

The Next Big Thing
Watching Brandon Pauliniuk catch these huge smallmouth using his Mega 360 makes me feel like Fred Flintstone with my downscan and marker buoys .

curl tail grubs
The hardest thing to do in bass fishing is rigging a grub , paddle tail , beetle ... on a lead head jig nice and straight . I dont know how you guys do it . No matter how careful I am and how much time I take , the shaft is rarely running down the middle of the lure and the hook exits off to the side . Then the lure runs crooked .
