I won a Kunan Fierce that retails for 30 bucks and am totally shocked at how good this reel is for being so cheap. it took a little fiddling with the cast control to get it right and oiled the handle [it squeeked] but I keep it in my truck all the time now and use it when I get a few minutes to cast on the way home from work a couple nights a week.

all of the above replies are great. Just remember, don't get overwhelmed with trying new or different techniques,you have to find what works for you. Your fishing not doing brain surgery......unless you're a brain surgeon..

I have a couple 33's that my niece and grandkids use they are at least 30 years old. work as good as new. cast a mile, no line tangling, easy to use. great reels that will never go out of style. 6 lb. mono works great on em.

I was in a 12 step program at one time......but I got better.......I quit the after step 1 and it solved all my problems.....I see I buy....no problem.

I have 4 setups I flip/pitch/punch a lot in Fl. my favorite setup is an 8 foot MHX blank that I wrapped myself. very well balanced not tip heavy at all, and I like a shorter than normal handle length. micro guides, ECSM reel seat, beast of a rod. love it.
