I'd fish the par 4 from the blues and stay away from the green on the par 3. Also, get out of the way when someone is teeing off, not everyone that plays golf, can actually play golf.

7 or 8 is what I fish all my bottom contact lures on. I want to try to get them out of the structure quickly. I also use braid on all of mine, probably wouldn't try to get them out as fast with mono.

But it wasn't the rods, so why would you not accept this answer? They were telling you that not all reels are the same.

I know, I should have quoetd Glaucus. He said he wasn't happy with their response. So why are you upset with their response if you admit that it is the reel and not the rod? Seems like you just want to be mad at Dobyns and are going to be no matter what.

What was wrong with their reply? Seems like they were basically saying that it was more than likely the size of the reel and not the rod (which you even admitted) that was to blame.

I prefer they don't give me any attitude at all, just do their job and catch fish. Kidding aside, I like a horizontal stance when paused.

Okay, now I am even more confused. Is the line uneven on the spool, or is the actual line bumpy? You have said both. I think many here are not sure what you are saying and you are getting mixed answers because we are thinking of something different.

I had the Zodias 7 M spinning and the 7'2" H casting. I fished the spinning on a Ci4 and wish I would have never sold it.

Same. I can fish a weightless on MH spinning gear all day.

Zodias 6'8" M or 7' ML. I have not owned neither of those rods, but I have owned a few Zodias rods and they are great.

I have owned both. In my opinion, it depends on what you prefer out of a handle. I like the Chronarch handle better but I prefer the body of the Core. If I had to choose over new or used, and same price, I would go with the Chronarch.

We get it. You are on a fixed income. But everything you post doesn't have to insinuate that those who choose to pay for high quality gear are somehow out spending what it takes to catch fish. You do this in every thread. It's getting old. Sometimes the $8 spinnerbait is actually 5x the $2 spinnerbait when it comes to quality of skirt, blades, and hook. But just because you can't afford it, don't make those who can feel like they are spending money when it isn't needed. I have held my tongue for a long time. But almost all your posts talk about how the "cheap" stuff works just as well as the expensive stuff.

Extras stay in the original packaging. Anything I am going to use goes in a bait coffin and in my bag.

I "think" that one is bilge. I "think" the livewell is on the dash one that model. I could be wrong though.

That's what I use. A H action gives me more confidence to drive the hook home. Of course, I probably swing for the fences way to harder than I should.
