There is no exact replacement for a 5" senko. The way they shimmy on the fall either T rigged or wacky is its own thing. People have searched high and low for an exact replacement. Me being one of those people. The 5" bps stick o is one of the baits that's about as close as I've found to a match to the gybc senko. I've watched multiple videos comparing the actions of different stick worms to a senko in the water. That was the closest one I've seen and it made me try them out. So far it was worth saving a couple dollars per pack. Yes, I might miss a few fish here and there as a result but I'm okay with that.

I've used 2 wraps of electrical tape for years now without issue. Braid lasts a very long time and you can flip it around in a year and have brand new line again.

That I'm not exactly sure on. One reason probably is that they're built like tanks. Another reason might be its what they're used to. I do know a lot of guys using a 300 series low profile reel.

Get the right tool for the job. Think of it as a snap on screwdriver. It's an investment but will last you a long time if taken care of. The baits are cheap either. $25 for a hudd 68. $20 for a spro 50 rat. $50-75 for a good bluegill hardbait. It all adds up quick.

I've been fishing a similar type of pond lately. There are a few open spots but the stuff is so thick under the surface that anything weightless basically just sits on top of it. My only real success has come from a pegged 3/4oz tungsten weight and a beaver style bait with a 3/0 flippin hook, or an ewg hook and a big worm like the rage anaconda. See if that works for you.

Are you referring to something like a boca orange seal when you say full ceramic? Those bearings are not full ceramic, but are a ceramic hybrid. A full ceramic bearing is very expensive. Like $80 for 2 spool bearings. I've seen it done before with boca's. It's totally pointless and a huge waste of money. You will not gain anything from it at all. The bearings will run you as much as the reel did.

Any sot fishing kayak is typically going to be rather wide. That's where some of the stability comes from along with the hull design. You in turn sacrifice some things. Speed being one of those. A longer kayak will be faster and track better. So the atak would be an improvement, but how much of one is the question. Enough to justify buying a whole new yak? Then you also must think about the additional weight for loading purposes. I load and unload my ride 115x by myself on top my Subaru. It's not hard but if it was another 20lbs or so, and almost 3' longer it would be way more of a pain. As for the seat goes. I finally bit the bullet and ordered one myself. It was hard to justify the money for just a seat. Mainly because I had the option to get that seat for $100 more when I bought my 115x and for some unknown reason I didn't do it.
