I've never used the 120. I have a 168 and 200. Not bad for the money. I modded my 200 to give it a wider action using a write up I found on SU. I have #20 Cxx on my swimbait setup and that's what I throw the 200 on. I rarely use the 168 but I throw it on that setup also. It's overkill for sure.

More sensitive than what? If you're comparing it to fluoro then you are very misinformed. Braid has no slack line sensitivity and that's were fluoro really shines. It also floats and that's not always a good thing for certain baits. Fluoro is more dense and sinks. It also will send a bait sailing into the next area code if you get an overrun during your cast. #30 isn't a great choice for a 1oz + bait in my opinion. Wait so H20 Xpress mono isn't the best line ever... Yes exactly. The pause and twitch turns followers into hooked fish a lot of the time.

Braid handles excellent on spinning combos due to it not having memory. Also it's diameter compared to it's mono equavilent of the same # test. You figure most people use 6 or 8 # test mono and do just fine. I'm a braid/leader user on almost all of my combos. Weather it's casting or spinning. I like to spool up with #15 braid on spinning gear and use whatever # leader is needed to accomplish the task at hand.

As I said it's like 10,000/10. Very few reports on grooving when compared to the amount sold. Also as mentioned their customer service is excellent. A called a few days ago to order a total of 4 small/cheap parts. Lady asked for my address and told me that they'd send them to me free of charge as a service. Not the first time they've done this either. No issues here.

It weighs 7.6oz which is what the tatula type R weighs. There's really nothing zillion about it at all. It's a tatula with blue cc knob and spool. They've added 2 more bearings to the handle and the same for the worm gear to take the total count to 12. I've done the same with all mine and it ran me $1 for the 4 bearings and 15 minutes of my time.

I pitch with pretty much all of my combos. It just depends on what I'm using as a bait. 1/4oz with rage craw,1/2oz jig,wacky worm,ect Line choice and rod power is decided by the cover. I don't have any need for a super stout setup because nothing in my area is that thick. Don't flip very often at all. For lighter duty it'll be the dx 704/Steez with sv apool setup that I can't wait to use this spring. Darn you winter buys.

I can't say that I've ever noticed if it's flat or not but I use Power Pro or Suffix 832 if they don't have the correct power pro I'm looking for.

I can tap a nail in using a screwdriver or I could use a hammer. There's a right tool for the job imo.

I'd be going with braid to try and make up for some of the rods moderate action. Mono has a fair amount of stretch and that with a moderate action will require a darn good hookset to really drive the hook home. Especially if it's a thicker hook and most are in the 5/0 size. Braid has no stretch and all the power from your hookset will go to the hook. Instead of mono stretching and taking away from some of that power. You can always tie on a leader for fishing other techniques were some stretch can be beneficial.

Picked up an SV spool to try out. So far I'm very impressed with it. It even kinda ties the combo together with the orange on the rod.

I work at a tattoo studio as a professional body piercer. The added bonus is it's owned by a long time friend and he understands that we all need play time. If I want to come in late,leave early,take the day off, or go on vacation it's no big deal. The downside is during the fishing season it makes it hard not to take the day off everyday haha.

I will say that when I bite the end off a rage craw to make it into a trailer. The coffee scent really doesn't taste bad.

Yeah I had the same thing happen to me. I did use the Phenix. It really doesn't load much with 1/8oz. It's funny when you actually weigh a bait. Most of these people who are saying 'my X reel will throw 1/8oz' probably don't realize a fat Albert grub,trick worm, or 4" senko weighs a 1/4oz as they sit without a hook.

Owner has a light wire weighted hook. The weight can be moved on the hook shank to change how the bait falls.

Alright it's 42 out and I did some testing for you. I used a #2 wacky hook and a jackall flick shake worm. Total weight was 3.7g on the scale. I made about a dozen casts and they all seemed to average about 40' once I got them all to go straight. Release point sure is different on something that light.

Why not just get a Daiwa online for $110-120?

I was referring to the braking of each. Someone said the difference is the Steez SV has a lightly longer spool shaft and weighs a fraction more.
