I actually already have that tripod. I use it to record videos on my phone. It was a good $4 investment. I recognized it when I scrolled through that first video.

No doubt. I'll figure it out. Probably use a head mount anyhow but my yak already has a RAM mount with 1/4-20 attachment on it. To be clear it's the case pictured that comes with the cam?

Thanks for mentioning the Sony. I was looking to buy a can to mount on my yak for this season. $128 and it comes with everything. Does the waterproof case have a 1/4-20 mount on the bottom? Only negative I see is when facing forward you can't see the screen and know if it's aimed properly.

Core100Mg Knobs Question
Some handles have knobs that are riveted on. I'm surprised that the core does because the curado or chronarch don't and they're cheaper.

Core100Mg Knobs Question
Just buy a single knob from shimano. They're like $5.

Core 50Mg?
I get where you are going with your train of thought. Heavier line on a long cast and the spool is only 1/4 full at the end of it. Lighter line on a long cast and the spool is 1/2 full at the end of it. Do to being able to hold more line because the diameter is smaller. It does make sense when you think about it. Curious to hear the answer myself. I don't put too much thought into ipt or gear ratio. Sniper seems to have a smaller diameter than most other lines. I use #16 sniper and it has a diameter of .014. #14 would probably be around .013 or maybe even .012. My Chronarch 51e holds plenty of #40 pp or #16 sniper. I can't cast 80-100 yards. I think you'd be fine.

Large Reel Handle
Hawgtech sells a 102mm handle and a lot of people on here really enjoy using it. I have a 96mm coming here soon. Try the 120. You might like it.

Co-Angler Question
If you guys are just out for fun then I don't see him having an issue with it. Pre fishing for a tournament would be different. When I take a friend I wouldn't mind as long as they aren't casting over me or I'm in fear of getting hooked. When fishing a tournament I get the deck and they get the back.

Why A Drop Shot?
As Brian mentioned already. It puts the bait right in their face when they are suspending just off the bottom. Think of that annoying fly that keeps landing on your face. You swat at it,right? Well it's the same premise with the fish.

Just placed a $75 parts order with Shimano for an upcoming reel build. Sent said reel out today to Trey Harpel to be supertuned and get carbontex drag. Waiting for Jun to email me back from Japan Tackle with an invoice for some other Jdm Shimano parts. Lastly I'll be picking up some Boca os7's for the reel.

Best Application?
I don't use mono but I do enjoy a good copoly like yozuri hybrid. Other than that exception I use braid/fluoro.

My Stats
There's a lot of things that can be fixed, but you can't fix _blank_ I had a $600 reel on a $150 rod. It was my favorite combo too.

What Hooks Do You Use?
Gamakatsu and owners are the majority for plastics but I also use Vmc and Mustads for certain things. I like the Vmc spinshot and mustad elite 1x/2x trebles.

Best Rates For Shipping.
The price depends on the variables. How far How long How much I just shipped 3 rods in 1 tube from Md to Ca. The tube was 8ft long so there's a charge for that. The distance was across the U.S. so it was more verse shipping it a few states away. Ups includes $100 insurance. If you want more then you have to pay extra for it. $25-30 is what the average price usually runs me.

Best Rates For Shipping.
I've used all 3 companies to ship rods and none are hands down better than any of the others. There is an online calculator but it's not 100% accurate. I've had stuff turn out to be $20 more. Just expect to pay $20-45 depending on length, destination, and insured value.

Fishing Ink?
Tattoos are considered art and people enjoying collecting art. Just like a painting but on their body instead. There are some tattoo artists that produce some very impressive art work. Defacing is a very poor choice of words in my opinion. A great example of a tattoo done by Nikko Hurtado.

Mlf Waterville Me
Exactly. You see a 'pro' fish a 7hr tournament and he only manages 5lbs. It's a nice wake up call to know that even they can really struggle.

Rod Or Reel...where Do You Invest Your Money?
- Falcon Original Rod.
I can't speak on the original but I had a bucoo 7' med/mod and anything heavier than a 1.5 square bill made it feel like it was gonna snap.- Rod Or Reel...where Do You Invest Your Money?
Exactly why I just hang on to things for the most part. - Falcon Original Rod.
