I think it is the improved. I still use it on certain things. The Uni and Palomar get the most use though.

Standard Clinch Knot
I'm not sure what the standard clinch knot is. I use the one I was taught 22+ years ago by my dad. Through the hook eye and back up,twist hook 5/6x,tag back through the loop above the hook eye,tag through the new loop you just made, slober on it and pull tight.

What's Your Favorite Pitching/flipping Rig?
A lot of people don't actually use the technique flipping. It seems to get mixed up in translation. I very rarely flip so I sold that rod. Pitching is totally different. You can pitch any bait and use any combo you have to do it. The overall weight of what I'm pitching can require different rods. If I'm pitching a 3/8oz + jig with trailer to laydowns then I'm using a heavy power rod. If I'm pitching a soft plastic craw with 1/8oz weight then I'm using my mh rod. As for reel it doesn't matter to me as long as it has an ipt of 28" or more.

New Power Pro Braid
That's the first I've heard of this really. I have been using power pro for a long time now. Use #10-65 and I've never experienced the wind knot issue. It isn't coated like suffix but now you have the option of super slick and it is coated.

Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
I just bought it online through best buy. Camera was $129.99 and the card $34.99. Total was $175 with taxes. I could of saved myself $25 or so using Ebay but I'm impatient and it barely cost me anything out of pocket since I had the gift card. Had best buy been open till 10pm I would of driven the 1hr to get there tonight haha. I ordered the 2 RAM pieces I need to make an overhead pole mount. Should get some good footage with the setup.

Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
It's just the camera and a 64gb card. I don't really have a use for the extras so I was ok without them. I have a RAM camera mount on my yak and that's all I wanted a camera for.

Unweighted Plastics What Hooks?
I read that somewhere on here once. Has to be true. I like using owner beast 8/0 and zoom trick worms. Really gives it a nice action on the fall.

Braid For Spinning Reel
You'll be fine with both. I don't know their diameters but they can't be too much more/less than say power pro. I run #20 on my 2500 and #10 on my 1000

Bass Boat On Electric Motor Only Lakes.
I fish a lot of electric only places and usually alone. I clip my rope to the front hook on the boat and clip the other end to the hook in the truck bed. Back the trailer in and the boat will float off. Unhook it from in the bed and pull it over to the dock. When loading I back the trailer in and drive it up on as far as it will go using the tm. Hook the winch up and pull it up the rest of the way on. Once you do it a few times you'll get the hang of it pretty quickly.

Am I Doing It Wrong?
I purchase depending on how pretty it is, and then I find a use for it in my rotation. Edit - I'm being facetious btw.

Dominator Tungsten Weights
Mike Siebert of Siebert Outdoors carries tungsten weights. He's also a site sponsor. His price on 1oz is 4.56ea and that's powder painted either black or dark green pumpkin. I think he does free shipping on orders over $50.

Daiwa Tdz Freespool
Is your reel clean? I picked up a used px68 that wouldn't free spool for even 2 seconds. I tore it down and gave it an overhaul. Everything was good to go after that.

Lew's Bb1Hlz Handle
I know and what I'm saying is. Your stock handle is probably only a few grams heavier than their carbon fiber one. It's not going to be enough to notice. It'll just look better and if you aren't worried about the look. Your money would be better spent on some tackle.

Lew's Bb1Hlz Handle
Handles don't weigh a lot to begin with. You might shave an estimated 1/4oz off the reels total weight if you had a tank of a handle factory. There's also times where the stock handle weighs only a few grams more than a cf one. For me it's a cosmetic thing, and some of my reels came with 80mm handles. I'm not a fan of them and I prefer 90-95mm handles.

Lew's Bb1Hlz Handle
It's not always about the weight savings. It doesn't hurt though. Some like the look of it and you also can get them in different lengths from certain companies. 80-100mm Believe it or not the Lews handle is really not expensive. Buy a handle for a Daiwa. Looking at $100+ for most aftermarket choices. ZPI's are $130 ish
