Line For Trout
Really like the braid on spinning reels. Longer casts, great hooksets. (gotta be carful and not set to hard) Have found power pro to give me less tip wrap. Six lb is like hair but you can go lighter. Just use a spinning reel that doesn't put the line on to even. You want more of and off x if that makes sense. If hands aren't to cold leaders can be tied with a double uni. Five wraps on the braid side and four on the fluro. Tight Lines

Braid Line
I like braid with leaders for spinning period. Use fluro leaders of different sizes to match conditions. I like to have a full spool all the time. Running strait braid and then getting a break way down hampers casting distance and accuracy I believe. Have to pay attention to weights though as your bait will fall quicker. On flippin and pitchin I like the heavy mono or fluro....guess I'm old school here. Mussels seem to cut up the braid better....in grass braid is a no brainer. Tight Lines

Are We About To Melt Down Again?
- This Was Really Tough
Having lived in Oregon for most of my life it's been really hard to take some of my tackle out of my boat. I know and believe it will work out here it's just that it doesn't for me very well. I even use 20# on my flippin stick now! Sooo last night took out all my crankbait boxes and went through em all and took out one's that haven't seen water for three years and even some that have. Came up with an empty 3700. Shad, shad, shad that's what I'm trying to learn. Maybe a few panfish and crawfish thrown in but those darn shad have got me scratchin my head for sure. It's getting better but oh what a learnin curve. Tight Lines- In Need Of Prayers

Biggie is the moisture thing....no moisture in or on It'll blow. Wear glasses and I wear surgical gloves...the cheap ones. They help Becare full when when adding the lead to pot...thats usually when @!$% happens. I also pour outside- Food/cooking Forum
I will be so glad to cook the things I really like again. After the pancreatitus if I have more than a deck of cards size of red meat its off to ER or at best just pain killers. Love venison but its the same almost as beef for me!! Quit chewing tobacco a number of years ago and was eating spicy flavored food but that too came to a big stop. Am sooo hoping to get back to the big flavors. You can only eat chicken and veggies so many ways!! We'll see.....good eats to all.- And Here I Wait

Cheer leaders still pleasant to watch!!!- Suggestions For My Line!?
8 or 10 pound power pro with a good fluro leader (6ft). I like silver thread. Can change leader sizes to match conditions and baits being used. I usually carry fanny pack with a spool of 6,8,10 along with some shad raps and various other baits. Casting is amazing Tight Lines- The Road To The Super Bowl

Praise the Lord. Was an awesome day with son. Had around a dozen keeper smallies (over 18") largemouth, striper, spots, sunshine, and a safe day. Awesome...Awesome- Braided Line Without A Leader....amazed At Results...
I use the yellow braid as I can see it so feel better using a fluro leader. Use a double uni with five wraps braid side and four on the fluro. No complaints. Besides if I break off the braid I hear the cash resgisters ring. If my leader breaks....oh well. Awesome...stay strong brother. One day at a time. I've walked the cancer road with my kids. Everyday is a gift from above and will lift you up here in about a second. May our God Bless you and yours again and again and again- Pork Butt
Probably not a biggie to many but I did a pork butt on my weber yesterday and it came out awesome. It was moist and very tender and even tasted great. I know it's a grill but I rubbed it and put it in the center of grill and cooked slow for six hours or so. Last half of grill I put in aluminum foil with more seasoning, brown suger and a little apple juice. Was a little time consuming as I had to add three or four briquiets every 45 min or so along with a hickory chunk or two but was worth the treat. Tight Lines and good eats to ya- Can Hardly Wait
Day after Christmas.....an awesome day to be on the water. It's either going to be Norris or Melton Hill trying out some new baits. If they don't work...well we'll go back to the old ones. How many of ya going to hit the water tomorrow or are ya going shopping! Tight Lines- Winter Projects....
Well plan is to fish at least one or two days a week to keep motor running well and reels from freezing up. May have to vacume boat once in awhile or change line from over use. Always looking, changing, and organizing boat and tackle. Tight Lines - This Was Really Tough
