Where Are They Right Now?
Water still 62 here in Tennessee. Air temp was 22 yesterday morning!! Caught smallies, largemouth and lost a spot fishin mostly in around 20 feet of water. I like using small dingers and tubes on 1/8 heads...6lb leader off ten lb braid. Was using a 1/4 yesterday as water was so warm. Tight Lines

Getting Up For Fishing
When I get a chance to go fishing I go. And if I can fish from dawn to dark it's even better. Have done real good in mornings in winter for big smallies. Tight Lines

What Did You Miss?
I used to work a 12 hour shift and than drive over an hour home. Dozing off got to be a problem at the wheel so started going out to the car with a sandwhich in hand. Than when I got to car I would sleep the rest of lunch break. Was a bit groggy going back into work but no more dozing going home!! Oh...I remember many years ago wife screaming at me when I fell asleep at the wheel. Scared me so bad haven't done it since!! Tight lines

Bbq
Good sides are awesome and I love good potato salad with BBQ sauce on top. Since the Acute Pancreatitus I have eased up till things heal...can't take the spice. But do prefer taking that lil extra time and cooking at home. Have made some bummer BBQ's but not as often anymore!!! Always looking for a good BBQ sauce and the Halapeno jelly I use is usually store bought. P.S. Maybe we can start a "post your favorite sauce topic?" Tight Lines

Spam.....love making musubi (spelled wrong). Originated in Hawaii....awesome stuff and you can just grab a block of it and eat like a sandwhich.

Bomber Square "a"
I put a single treble on the front as the bass usually inhale and it's easier to release em. Tight Lines

Good ol weber...some hickory pieces soaked in water and lastly some babybacks from Target (best I've found around Knoxville and good prices) Two hours later finger lickin time. Like to spice em and put a little OJ in some aluminum foil and cook in indirect heat for an hour. Take out of foil and lay in middle between coals and spice again and then 15 min beforre serving top with honey and halapeno jelly. Tight lines

Is My Fishing Season Over?
When I lived in Oregon the big rains would turn everything to mud in the winter where I chased smallies so chased steelhead. Now that I'm in Tennessee it's awesome to have water to fish all year. Like everyone has said slow...slow...slow seems to work best. Clear water I love a 3inch dinger on a 1/8 or 1/16 head on 6lb line or if they are showing on the graph a dropshot will sometimes work well. Bites are usually real light. Dirty water is not my favorite...but a 3/8 jig fished slow can get some good fish. Especially if they are up sunning themselves. Tight Lines

Food
I had asked on here earlier about Hilton Head in South Carolina because my wife had gotten a good deal on a condo for a week. Well as far as fishing I found out it was mostly saltwater and a lot of it and should I get down there again I will know more what to look for and do. But someone on this site I believe mentioned Skull Creek Boathouse for a place to go restaurant. OH....MY....GOSH. Absolutly amazing. Customer service, menu, and taste of food. They have a menu of all kinds of seafood and it is perfection and I could eat there every day. From sushi to lobster and on and on. Thank you to who ever helped me find this place....was our favorite. Tight Lines
