I think I've heard of people 'milking' the stomach of a bass in order to find out what they've been eating. Any tips for this?

This month's BASS Times (pg. 19) has a small piece on new baits from Lucky Craft. What they've done is wrap hard baits (Pointer 78, Pointer 100) with real squid skin. According to the article, MSRP on the baits is $25.99 each.

I find it easier to remove the fillet completely from the carcass, lay it skin side down on the cutting board and then let the fillet knife just slide over the skin.

I don't know about Wal Mart, but pretty much every auto parts store (Advance, AutoZone, NAPA, etc) will take used oil.

Catfish, yes. You put your hand in a catfish's mouth and you're going to be missing some skin. Like I said, I've done it a million times. This one was the first to try to turn my finger into a crushed crawfish. ;D

The pothole I fish the most is C&R only for bass. Tons of dinks and just a few decent fish. I'm sure the C&R rule is observed. : I've kept a few small fish from there. The problem is when people catch a 6 or 7 lb. fish and keep it.

Had a bass that was deep hooked this morning. Hook point just inside the gullet. I've got my finger down his throat trying to push against the bend in the hook to pop it out. Then the #$%*%^ thought my finger was a crawfish and tried to crush it. ;D I've done that with a lot of fish, but this little #$%*%& was the first to 'bite' me. And he did it twice!

I try to be. Sometimes I become a little too obsessed with the weather. I'm constantly watching the radar, wind patterns, etc.

I love their color variety, but they're just too darn light. I've been toying with the idea of using some lead tape to increase their weight just a bit.

I've been using it on all of my soft plastics and jigs this year, haven't noticed a difference.

I like them, but I don't like paying BPS's prices. Been meaning to get a couple of racket wraps and try them out.
