  1. That may very well be the dumbest concept I have ever heard. :-/
  2. Exactly. I used to worry about it. Wasn't unusual for me to carry crawlers or mealworms so I could bust the skunk. Now I don't worry about it. I've been skunked more in the first 6 months of this year than I was all of last year. Not really a big deal.
  3. The thing is the hooks on the baits look a lot like a Gamakatsu. Hence the reason I want to avoid the original hooks.
  4. Owner 5102 in either 3/0 or 4/0.
  5. Chris, I've been looking at those Huddlebugs for the last year, if you keep this up I might have to 'invest' in a few.
  6. Timmy showed a bit of confidence Sunday by coming back in around 10AM with a 20 lb. limit. Can't wait to see what ESPN does with that.
  7. The main forum list shows the topic most recently responded to. Go to the forum, no such topic is there. At least two forums showing that currently.
  8. Oh, I'm very anal about having water coming out of the pee hole. Just no pressure gauge. Like I said, it is on my list. Very limited space on the dash for gauges, but I should have enough room for a tach and WP gauge.
  9. Yeah, I just hate fishing coves with docks full of scantily clad girls.
  10. As I see it, if you're loading another page every 10 posts in a long thread, you're taxing things more than if you were loading 20 per page. Would like to see this be a user-specific function. Then again, I always view multiple-page threads as a whole rather than split into pages.
  11. I'm not an expert, so take what I say with a grain of salt. As I understand it, the gauge tells you if you have enough water pressure in the cooling system. You don't want it too high, nor too low. If it is low, the engine isn't getting enough water. What brand of motor is it, year of manufacture, etc? I'll see if I can dig up some info (manual, etc) for you.
  12. I'm not much for judging treble size. Was throwing a DD22 Sunday morning, got a good fish on. Played it for a bit, had it close to the boat, then just slack line. Reeled it in, missing a hook on the rear treble. :'( Need to replace it before this weekend, just don't know what size of treble I need. If nothing else, I'll pull a hook off another bait. I do want to try to avoid whatever brand of hook is currently on the bait. It was a new DD22, had never been fished before that night. More than ticked me off since it was the biggest fish I had hooked all night.
  13. That is pretty much all I can tell you. My boat doesn't have a WP gauge (wish it did, on my To Do list).
  14. Should be reading water pressure inside the cooling system.
  15. So it was 10/2 Power Pro?
  16. Always something to be done to a boat. I haven't made any modifications to mine in a few weeks and I'm getting antsy.
  17. Went from having 20 posts per page to 10 posts per page.
  18. Tough night. I was fishing as a boater, but using my partner's boat. Got bit pretty well on the second spot we hit. He put three in the boat and I had a nice one come off. Hit a ton of spots with spinnerbaits and crankbaits, got a few bites but no hookups. Went for a long time without a bite. We got a few more in the livewell late in the AM fishing some lighted docks with spinnerbaits. Then got a couple more after daylight on cranks. Only two limits out of 18. My partner won with 11.59, I ended up with 4 something. Big fish was around 4.5.
  19. Does this mean you can just chew on one of their baits to stay awake during those all night tournaments?
  20. Exactly. When my wife goes out with me, she holds the boat at the dock or launch. She doesn't know how to drive the boat or back up the trailer. She does what she knows that that is it. People who cut in line tick me off to no end. Just yesterday, was launching for our tournament. Waited in line, went to put in and some dumb shirt waited until he got to the ramp to get his boat ready for launch. Waited for a couple of minutes, then cut around him and hit the winter ramp.
  21. God I hope so. Fishing a tournament tomorrow 8PM-7AM. Fishing has been slow on the lake all week.
  22. 14 in camp, two days of hunting in Bedford and Campbell Co's. Everyone got at least one. Limit up there is two per day, so it isn't hard to stack 'em high pretty quickly with so many in camp. That was opening weekend of muzzleloading season.
  23. Peanut butter and tomatoes
