For Father's Day I got a daughter who's on the honor roll, city swim team, has a baby sitting job, and takes dance lessons two nights a week. Oh yeah, she makes her bed every day.... errr, I guess that makes Father's Day every day..... Add: she looks like her mother too.

Just ran into a guy who did this. Luckily he lived near my friend whom I was fishing with. I gave him one of my paddles on the condition he dropped it off at my friend's house when done. We traded business cards and he dropped it off the following morning.... I've been good so far and haven't forgotten anything other than bug spray this year...

The wife & I took our kayaks to Little Pond in Plymouth today. I caught 4 decent Bass & the wife caught 2. My swimming Senko was getting beaten up badly, but I need to improve my hook setting with it: it sure isn't as soft as a 'regular' Senko.

Got over to Sunset Lake in Braintree with the kayak for about an hour and a half. Panfish were picking @ my worm, but other than that, pulled up a lot of weeds while using a Rapala.

Got out to Little Pond in Plymouth for a couple hours after work today. Got a decent bass to the kayak before it spit me out & landed one dink after that.

I'm not a bourbon drinker, but Macallan 10 or 12 on the rocks is A+ In my book.

Colt 45? I prefer .357 mag.... the magnum doesn't leave shell casings... oh, crap, wrong forum...

Zoom U-tale in gourd-green. Weightless or Texas, doesn't seem to matter.

I can tell you they're NOT up here in E. Massachusetts...

If you're talking about their spinning reels, I have three different sizes. They're smooth as silk & cast great. More than worth their $49 price tag.

Let' m be kids. Your best memories are likely from when you were a kid. Besides, They're in for a heck of a shock when they grow up and have to pay for the last three Presidents....

Got down to Jacobs Pond in Norwell for an hour or so after work - nice kayak/canoe ramp but the weeds have taken over the whole place. Got a few hits on a small Gulp worm but didn't do much other than "mow the lawn"

It depends on who I go with. When I take my nephews out fishing most of my time & attention is on them, making sure they're having fun & paying as much attention as 9 and 7 year olds can these days. I suppose I'm a good fisherman if they catch fish. When I fish with an old College friend I suppose we're a draw, just being out fishing is good enough - we both work two jobs and have family responsibilities...

Zoom's U-tail in gourd green works best for me, texas rigged w/ 1/8 or 3/16 oz weight. weightless texas rigged Senko 4" or 5" in Watermelon/copper flake orange are my 2nd choice.

Got a couple of Dinks last night @ BHR. I'm beginning to believe that it's a young pond that's been fished out, but only time will tell. Got a pair of decent/OK bass @ Houghton's this morning. One on a Rapala shad-rap and the other on a texas rigged Zoom worm in Gourd Green. I've always had good luck with this particular Zoom-er. Planning on getting out on the kayaks next weekend as long as I can get my work & homework done. I'm trying to finish my MBA by the end of June. good luck to everyone out there in Taxachusetts....

I've got the Lure 11.5. A++ kayak: smooth to paddle, and light enough to load on my ladder racks by myself.

I have Vexilar's Sonarphone. It sets up its own WIFI network that your smart-phone connects through. Vexilar's APP works just like a 'regular' fish finder. I believe I paid $129 for it through Cabela's website.

I use a fishing backpack (3x3500's & lots of pokets) rather than a box, so that, two rods, an anchor, and a waterproof camera. This is my 1st season on a kayak, so I'm keeping it simple to start. I'm sure it'll evolve as my experience grows.

I ended up with plan A: using a toilet flange from Home Depot with a 4" rubber cover to seal it on the inside. I'm pleased with how it came out. i guess now my kayak flushes?!?!?!

Got out to Blue Hills Reservoir an hour or so before dusk with the family. Nothing, not even a strike. Saw a couple decent bass cruising what I think are their beds. Lots of little Sunnies & a couple of small Yellow Perch, so there are some fish left there. My wife had fun feeding night-crawlers to the Sunnies. My daughter was bored.... she's 14.
