  1. Here are the pics, any ideas?
  2. Worst line I have ever used is Berkley Vanish. It works as described though, you set the hook and your lure vanishes.
  3. I need help identifying and old top water lure. I used to know the name of it, but for the life of me I can't remember what its called. It looks just like a spook, but it has one giant eye on the bottom of it. I thought it was called a walking woodeye but I don't remember. I will try to get a pic up asap for a better visual.
  4. Anyone use the Divine series rods from 6th sense? They look pretty sharp, wondering if they are worth the price point.
  5. 7' MH Duckett Triad for spinnerbait/chatterbait, best spinnerbait rod I have ever used aside from a Hammer.
  6. I have a terex but not the cranking model. It’s my jig rod, reminds me of the micro magic but with bigger guides. I have a micro magic cranking 7’ M rod that I bought when the Ducketts first came out and have had zero issues with it. It’s a good smaller crank rod but I feel like throwing baits such as a wiggle wart on it, the rod has too much flex. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it though, I have 12 Duckett rods and couldn’t be happier.
  7. I mainly use a GoPro, but I did buy an Akaso from Amazon just to have a second camera angle. Its actually surprisingly good video quality, however the battery only lasts 45 minutes if you are lucky and thats on 720p. Also sometimes it just randomly shuts off. I would stick with the GoPros, they can be had cheap on the auction sites.
  8. I also ordered a rod from Amazon, it came in a 6"x6" cardboard box, which was torn off on 3 sides about 1/3 of the way down, held together by a piece of tape. Sure enough when I opened the box, the rod was broken right where the box was. All it had inside was the plastic sleeve covering the rod, no bubble wrap or newspaper or anything. Just thrown in the box and out the door it went. That was the beginning of the end with Amazon for me.
  9. Is it ever worth the drive? LOL Its been slow, past couple of weekends the tourney winning weights were around 12lbs, a couple of 5's caught nothing spectacular. I would give it a couple weeks.
  10. I bought a 130 when they first came out, that was the only size they had back then. To this day I haven't caught anything on it, but I am determined to this year! I also won a 90 in a tourney, but that thing never worked right for me. I needed up giving it to a friend of mine and he said they same thing, guess I must have got a defective one.
  11. I don't have a Sniper, but I do have an Ark Tharp series cranking rod called the "grinder". Its a glass composite rod, its a really nice rod and casts baits a mile. I personally feel it lacks a little sensitivity compared to a graphite cranking rod but thats to be expected. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Ark rod at all.
  12. I have both, they have a very different feel from each other, at least in my hands. I prefer the Terex over the Triad, but I prefer the Micro Magic Pro over both. They don’t make the terex anymore, if you shop around the MMP can be had for the same price as the Triads. The Triad yo me feels more true to it’s rating than the terex or micro magic.
  13. I have had some very very good days there April-May on jerkbaits
  14. I used to have $300+ rods. I sold them all and bought rods in the $100-150 range which I like just as much and catch just as many fish on. I’m actually looking at a KastKing rod for a topwater/Jerkbait rod right now. As far as reels go, I only have one that was more than $130. Most of my reels are in the $79-99 range and I couldn’t be happier.
  15. I use them all the time, they really produce for me. I don't even use the regular ones, just the deep husky jerks. I have a couple other brands of jerk baits as well but the huskies are my favorite.
  16. I just guessed at my roster, and I’m surprised I am actually in 33rd so far haha
  17. I will be there Saturday as well, be sure to check out the Big Bear booth, my buddy Brandon will be working it. I work with him, he can hook you up.
  18. I am winging it as well, although I did pick Mueller because he is a local for me , this is my first attempt at Fantasy Fishing
  19. Like others have said, you will probably get 100 different opinions on what brand is best. I am partial to Duckett and Megabass, but I have actually gotten rid of all my Megabass rods and now have all Ducketts. The Megabass rods are awesome rods, but honestly I found myself using the Ducketts more, so it didn't make sense to me to spend $300 per rod on any more rods. The more expensive rods don't really make you a better fisherman, only more time on the water can do that. Now, my father on the other hand likes St Croix and the BPS brand rods. I don't think you can go wrong with whatever you choose as long as its comfortable to fish and you like the actions.
  20. I did as well , got a 7’H and the free rod. Should be delivered Thursday, the free rod better be in there!
  21. Thanks, just bought one myself and they said they are sending the free rod with it!
  22. Anyone using the Okuma Rods? I have been searching for a new rod brand and these have caught my attention, specifically the TCS for bottom contact and EVx for moving baits.
  23. I cant stand him, thats why I never listen to or watch this show
  24. Well, you could start buying casting reels instead. That should cure your spinning real purchase problem.?
  25. I happen to have an Orochi XX Tour Versatile for sale...
