  1. Much appreciated! Thanks everyone! We've been together for over 4 years now. I'm not sure what I would do without her. She really does bring a light to my life.
  2. Well, I decided to finally tie the knot with my special someone. Boy did she mess up! So we decided to take us a little adventure to Alabama. Gulf shores area to be specific. Neither of us have been in the area, not sure what to expect. She's got a few things planned for us to do, but while we are their I feel we must try to do some deep sea fishing. I've only had the opportunity to do so several times, so it's always a treat. Wondering if anyone had suggestions on who to talk to too get us out on the water? Budget friendly is always nice, but it's our honeymoon so we don't mind splurging a bit. Also if anyone has any must see places to go see or do, throw them out! Maybe some delightful places to eat, or places to get fresh seafood (we will have a full kitchen). Thanks everyone!
  3. Music on the job site is #1 priority. I make my apprentice bring a radio everywhere we go.
  4. Seriously.... You guys mise well send me your money now and not waste your time.
  5. Good fish! Keep up the solid work.
  6. Frog. T rig baits in pockets of the muck.
  7. Those little line snips with the pull cord. I have 4 pairs. One being clipped to my side every tournament for quick hook and bait changes. Expensive but...a bigger boat. Allows me to have all my gear stored right by my side and still have all kinds of room to fish. (More room for the lady to lay out) If she's happy, I'm happy. Also let's me get to another spot in a moment's notice.
  8. What a guy, what a guy.
  9. Full group. When are we drafting
  10. I looked it over like 4 times and finally I thought, did he really just ask that. Hahaha Sounds like you are in order to catch some panfish and start learning their body parts. Thanks for the laugh
  11. Where about in Central Illinois. Mattoon area here
  12. Bamboo rod and 8 feet of mono line. But really, I own two setups for panfish. Both are pflueger trion reels on gander mountain vortex medium light 6 foot rods. Work excellent for me and roughly a 45 dollar setup.
  13. I prefer Menards, closest is 35 minutes away so I don't go often. But if I have a big project that's where I head. Better selection, better prices. Home Depot is about 5 minutes from me, so they typically get my business. I have a set of rigid power tools and they take care of be there. Plus, they have some "fascinating" younger ladies working there. Only time I can follow a pretty woman around and it's not considered stalking.
  14. I live on the wild side. Think I'm taking Cutler for the dolphins 1st round
  15. I fish Texas rigged plastics with 1/4 to 3/8 oz bullets 90%of the time.
  16. If you'd shower once and awhile we might get more people to join...
  17. I'm always waiting for that to happen! I've had some close calls but have yet to stick myself. I try to wear my shades at all times just for that instance. Knocking on wood, that I never hook my eyeball.
  18. Lucky craft pointer 90 ghost shad. 7.07lb
  19. Texas rig plastics. Craw, worm, lizard 1/2oz jig black or green White spinnerbait, I like war eagles Square bill cranks, white, shad colored, or ghost colored
  20. They must have seen I'm playing and figured there was no chance in winning....
  21. Appreciate it. Need to do some looking. That's exactly why I made this post.
  22. Maybe it's a new model, but I'm looking at a demo one right now that is that model. 7ft 3in 1/4 to 3/4 oz fast action I'm looking for a top tier, not totally set on a brand. Appreciate your recommendation. Will look into it. What kind of price range would you think I would be looking at. While I don't necessarily have a limit I don't want to get stupid high. Thanks
  23. Around 80% of the time I find my self pitching docks, weeds, and brush with weighed plastics. So I'm looking to upgrade my main pitching setup. I've never used a Loomis so I'm not quite sure which rod would be the best fit. As of right now I'm leaning towards a NRX 873. I like a longer rod, but wondering if I might need to bump up to a 4 power rating. I throw larger craw and creature baits with a sinker that weigh up to .85oz Considered a custom rod, but would like to have the warranty as I can be tough on my equipment at times.
  24. No football fans on here?
