Eeeh...even if you reel slow you are still bringing in a lot of line. I've noticed my chatterbaits ride higher and don't creep through the strike zone even when I reel slow with 7.1:1. Biggest problem is trebles and hauling a fish in too fast.

Had one and sold it. Walks pretty easy. Never caught anything with it. Doesn't really glide, just changes direction.

Is the gamakatsu replacement frog hook the same hook that comes on the spro frogs? I find it impossible to bend the stock spro hooks out from the body and the gamakatsu hooks description says that they stick out. Owner also makes a hook but comes in sizes 4/0 and 6/0 and not sure which would be best for spro 65.

You are pushing it with 60 bucks. In that situation I'd focus on features and comfort as performance will be similar

To expand on my comment. ..I've tried most brands on TW (they just got new ones in I'll try) and they either did not stay in place or ripped when coming through cover. I actually threw vike punch stops away. Eagle claw is OK but you need to put 2 on.

Looking at a 6'9" citrix spinning rod and wanted to know others experience. Im8 and good price and good style. Lots of positive reviews. I'm looking for a finesse spinning rod for shakey (1/8oz+) and drop shot under 7 foot and under 150.
