The 7'6 is the rod I am using more and more Its a Wallyworld version of the Aird.. a real great bang for buck at ~ $40 Its just a great rod for spinnerbaits, heck of alot more

What time of day did you go and what was the water temps?

No doubt wind is good but in the conditions we were fishing on Sunday.. it wasnt just the wind.. the general conditions were not so great but the bites were still there..fewer but there under those conditions In addition, the wind makes the surfaces temps even colder gotta be on yer toes when the bite comes in coldwater

Strong wire interlock snaps only.. I've had all other snaps fail on me one way or another. Nothing like losing a fish due to a snap failure! I pulled in a fish once and the spro hypersnap arm had skipped the main wire and nothing was keeping the lure on the snap except a hope and a prayer hanging on an open bottom arm.. that was luck.. most of the time I lost lure and fish with them ridiculous snaps.

I think fishing sucked on Sunday in general. It was cold and the wind was gusting and unless you were suitably dressed.. IT WAS COLD! It was not a good windy day in that the fish were not shallow. It wasnt a good day for me neither but it feels like late fall and the fish are generally deep most of the day at least thats where my hits came from. I was saved from a skunk by catching a dink on a chatterbait.. but I wiffed on several good hits which came lightning fast.. well I fished big baits most of the day so it may have been better if I had gone more finesse. But yes windy Sunday was a tough day!

Well its definitely cold in the northeast though the weather is warmin this weekend. I like fishin early but its also coldest early so after I get my fill with a couple good size bass I'm outa the cold early and into some shelter

You wanna know if the big fish are in yer neck of the woods, check during the spawn. If the big fish are clearly there you guys are just not appealing to them no longer. In addition, if you guys arent practicing catch and release..well..

Know what it is? Not enough fishin'! Not enough being by yerself and going back to nature and solitude.. Not enough time to reflect about if any of this craziness is at all important Too many frustrations no outlet no reflection = volcanoes ready to explode..

Theres theory and real world.. real world sometimes involves so many factors a general theory cannot hope to accurately model.. Yer talkin a pond where likely if you can rip a 40+ yard cast youd prob be able to cover most of it Fishing places like that I would simply cover all of it and let the fish tell me where they like to be rather than where theyre supposed to be Who knows there may have been an underwater depression there where you caught that fish where the pond bass like to ambush from

I dont think you need all those rods but most of those plastics are nice options under specific conditiions

I use 3/4 to 1 oz when I fish deep and stay down

If you said stained then yea but for true muddy water for me Ive not seen much a difference in color

havent checked temps at depths I only check surface temps and recently Ive even cut that to just feeling the water with my hands few weeks ago the surface temps were downright chill and I fished deep but theyve come up in the past week or so

spro powerswivels are micro and strong but running those thru yer guide eyes may scratch/damage the eyes..

As with anything in life.. experience and knowledge make complexity -> simplicity As your experience and knowledge come together it make things appear simple but for those who havent had it come together.. it seems complex cause it hasnt been "figured out"

67 on saturday seem like a day to circle and fish all day if u can good time of the year to begin upsizing lures abit points ledges near coves with quick access to deepwater I betcha theres big ones in your lakes too
