Suspending swim bait for speckled trout?
Yeah, I think Zman is your best bet here due to the buoyancy of the material. You should be able to find a weighted chinlockz to match the bait you select.

Puzzled by braid issue on frog rod
Respool the line with tension as mentioned above. Then take some casts with the frog in the backyard. Make a long cast, then pull off another ~15 yards of braid. Once that's done, put electrical tape on that spot in the spool. That will still allow you to make your longest cast, but also minimize the damage from a backlash.

Real world experience with cheaper lithium batteries?
Does anyone have any real world experience using the cheaper lithium batteries to run 24 or 36v trolling motors? The bigger names - Dakota, Ionic, Battleborn, etc - seem to come with the bigger prices. Amazon has a bunch of cheaper options with high ratings, so wondering if anyone has successfully gone that route.

Tatula vs stradic
Interesting...I've always choose the normal Stradics. To me, they've resulted in better balance with the rod and felt more neutral in hand.

What are you doing with the free tackle warehouse sticker?
Doesn’t that just mean it’s time for a new, bigger boat?

Fluke swivel?
I’ve done it both with and without the swivel. The swivel did help get the bait down further in the water column

Braid for Finesse Swimbaits ?
15lb Daiwa braid in chartreuse with 4-5 ft of fluoro leader has done fine for me. I’ve colored the last few ft of braid with black sharpie as well.

Looking for a travel rod
Yeah, inshore saltwater or surf casting options are likely your best bet.

Savannah fishing help
Sounds like redfish and trout will be the easiest to target since you’ll be in saltwater. Try live shrimp either on a jighead or under a popping cork fished at the mouths of creeks

Freshwater Gear Nightmare

E6x inshore feedback
In open water, you’d be able to handle fish of that size on the ML. But if you’ve got docks or mangroves to compete with, step up to the M. Then again, the weight of your lure comes into play of course. I’ve never used the E6X but I can say that the St Croix Avid Inshore also warrants a look. Mine have tamed many reds, trout, flounder, etc on both the FL Panhandle and the SC Lowcountry

Best Fishing Store You’ve been in
Hammonds Fishing Center off Lake Lanier sets the standard for Mom and Pop tackle stores as far as I'm concerned! For any of you who watch Mikeybalzz's youtube channel, he's done a video walkthrough of Hammonds before.
