  1. Get the thinner boxes usually 3501 3601. Save space in you bag.
  2. Hey buddy, welcome.
  3. Pflueger is a nice reel. Under 100? I go either with that one or 2015 abu pro max, lews makes some good ones like the LFS?? Series? I think that 100.00. All nice pitching reels.
  4. Well fluoro is too expensive to use as backing. So is braid, But I have used cheap braid as backing before. Not a fan. Going back to a low lb mono 10-12lb as backing.
  5. You can use them for what ever you want.! Jigs, Texas rig, crankbaits, spinnerbaits, flipping heavy, topwater spooks, poppers, frogs, etc. Good with any type or weight of line too. Ive used From 8-20lb mono and fluoro. 30-60lb braid.
  6. Another tip is to look up a guy named jimmy houston and spinnerbaits. You might learn somthing.
  7. I like ribbits! I think they are one of the better ones. They hold up well. Fish it just like a buzz bait but... in cover. Like sparse lilies. If you can, I would fish it on braid. But you can still fish it with mono. Scent...? No not really.
  8. Check out the new 2015 promax. Looks prettyslick. Heard lews makes a heavy duty reel. Revo sx is what I use. And I like it.
  9. GREAT! Honestly with these three setups you can cover almost any lure presentation. Check out gandermountain line of rods. I hear good and bad about no. 8 rods. Eyes crooked or break easy but i also heard those rods are the best for the price. Just buy the best that is in your budget. I just recently purchased a *** black gen 2 rod. How does that kast king feel? And is that black max the new 2015 model or older.
  10. Oil! Household oil. The stuff u add to hinges to stop squeaking. For a simple answer there it is. Wd40 is not a long term lubricant. Vasiline I think will goo up after it collects dirt. In a pinch when I was camping and dropped a reel in water...I've used motor oil on my spinning reel. Applied with my finger.
  11. Power pro slick or sunline Braid with a fluoro leader about 4 ft. Or straight seagar , sunline or mccoy fluoro.
  12. I got 5 revo sx. I love them. I like having the same reels though all of my setups. I think they are the better all around reel. But seriously it's preference. Flip a coin. Both companies build a great product.
  13. Spray the whole spool of line. Even bulk spools. Any spool of line I get I spray down.
  14. 14-17 lb. You can get away with heavier line. I use mono.
  15. My opinion it's nothing but a gimmick. They say it's for balance and weight reduction. But I feel no difference. No offense to anyone who prefers either or.

Boo yah is pretty good. I caught them on black, chartreuse, silver grey. And try to parallel the bank. Mess with speed of retrieve start slow then speed up. Multiple cast.
  17. Shakey head. With trick worm or tiny fluke.
  18. What part of the year do female bass usually spawn? A. Fall B.spring. ( psssst it's this one!!) C. Christmas D. I don't know.
  19. Hope everyone had a great christmas!
  20. Lews usually has reels that are pretty good for around 100. Same with abu
  21. Can I use it on plastic?
  22. Does anyone know how to get rid of tarnish off of a baitcaster? The chrome accent pieces usually at the line guide or thumbar have it and it bugs me. Haha. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
