Starting over?
I think I'm deciding to replace some of my revo gen 3 baitcasters with 4's. I like the look better. Try them out see how they perform.

Starting over?
Anybody ever dump their entire "main" arsenal then start over with a new brand or just upgraded in general within a season. Just curious.

What's Your Nemesis?
Overthinking. Definitely over think scenarios(what baits to tie on, what rods to take, which part of lake am I fishing) instead of just going fishing.

Looking for advice
Keep fishing simple at this point. Dont need a bunch of colors or baits. Blacks, whites, natural colors. Say you like to fish jigs... I would recommend buying the parts to build your own jigs. Instead of buying a 3-4$ jig. Buying the jigheads and skirts separately and putting them together yourself cold be cheaper in the long run. Join ebay. Can find awesome deals there. Alot of people on ebay do custom stuff. Sometimes find reels and rods for cheap. Ask for gift cards for birthdays or x-mas. Sales are your best friends. So are discount bins. Pm me your address. I probably can help ya out on a few things.

Fished out? Is it possible.
Usually for me it's laziness. If im betting done with work early, im like alright I'll go fishing for a lil bit. Then I get home and sit down... I'm done. Or I don't feel like driving to the lake. And i kno its stupid for me to say that. That's why I need a lake house...?

Lews David Fritts Perfect Cranking Rod VS Lews Custom Speed Stick Crankbait Rod
I have the 6'9" mh fritts rod and I like it for squarebills. Negatives: Dont really like the grip...a lil too thick. Wish it wasnt micro guides either(not a fan, especially for the tip). Positives: Big fan of composite rods for squarebill cranks. Has enough backbone and the tip makes it easy to cast 1.5s. Haven't caught a giant on the rod yet but it handles 2 lbers pretty well.

Beginner Baitcaster
Honestly I would choose the kasting assassin. Because of the dual brake system. I dialed that reel in for my wife, And it almost behaves like a spincast reel. Rarely a birdsnest

Think like a predator?
Hey Mikey I think he likes it!! Same here. Sometimes it just clicks. You look at something for years and FINALLY it makes sense or seems so simple. I think if I were a bass, Where would I hide for ambush. Where's the best place to get food. Whats the most comfortable place to chill out.

Pick Your Frog!
Booyah and spro... easiest to walk Booyah is the softest. Spro walks a lil better. Booyah is the best bang for your buck

Starting jig fishing
Try a finesse jig on the lighter side. 5/16 or 3/8. Finesse jig might help ya get a feel for the jig bite...maybe.

Shaw Grigsby RN?
Christie said shaw was one of the first people he saw that he trusted to do the job. After the tourney day, the pros still have work to do. Jason didn't want to go the hospital because he didn't want to waste his time. Just man up and get the hook out.

Football Jig
A 1 ounce fb jig is a lot of lead for bass too handle Just remember to reel set to load the rod up then set the hook. The setup I would use... 7ft-7.5ft. mh- h. At least 15lb fluoro or 50lb braid. Gravel points or flats in deep water are ideal for this size jig. On a flat you would probably use a steady retrieve like a crankbait and see if it keeps bottom.
