if ya think about it. most named brand hotels like holiday inn, best western, hampton, etc. have been most modernized, also right off a highway is what you want to look for where big rig trucks and trailers like to stop. have bigger parking lots. plus i dont know this for fact, but famous touristy lake hotels should be used to these accommodations?

i have a 16ft crestliner storm. with a 20hp it does plane with gear (but i pack light)and by myself. dont know about with another person. i get around 19-21mph. i think you could plane that 17 tracker with minimum gear maybe.

blue marsh has finally gettin turned on. not full swing yet but almost there. past week ive been having some lackluster days. but yesterday caught about 6 bass one was 2.5lb and another was 4lb. a 2ft musky was also caught. i think the wind helped alot. all my fish were on a buzzbait and spinnerbait. wouldnt touch the squarebill or lipless? i actually thought that would be the ticket.hopefully better days will come. hopefully will get to the nock for the fall bite.

im struggling too. tried frosty morning buzzbait but... nothing. seems like they wont commit to my normal baits. buzzbaits, jigs, spinnerbaits, and squarebills. hindsight was instead of buzzbait i should have used a popper i think. then maybe let the jig sit for a while longer... i dont kno. this weekend might be a different story.

i think bass are at a buffet. a lil of this a lil of that.they eat whatever they can get their mouths on. ive seen snakes, mice, perch, craws, shad, bluegill, you name it in their mouths.

heres one of the 2 at nockamixon. caught it on a chatterbait was about 4lbs. the other was on buzzbait was about 3 1/2. first couple in my new boat. most of the day was breaking in the motor

honestly. not to sound like a bummer but i didnt really have that great of experience for my first boat. the sales man was talking to me like ive never seen a boat before. i just wanted to grab the keys and get goin. he asks, where you planning on using this boat. i tell him, blue marsh and nockamixon....the lakes around where i live. looks me straight in the eye and says never ever take a boat like this in blue marsh. im like DONT tell me where i can and cant fish.??. but im over it. am sooo glad to have it now. trailering this boat was a breeze. cant wait to customize and make it my own, and for the first ride.

Tomorrow ill be taking a lil trip to look at a boat. A crestliner storm 1600 with a 20hp on it. Im excited. if the monthly payments are good ill be coming home with it??

i was disappointed every 6th sense i bought i had to try to tune. most went unsuccessful. all of them went one way or the other on their side. even reeling slow or yoyo.

at that time of day. i guarentee they will hit topwater. i would have a horny toad... ribbit... or a buzz bait tied up to cover water. waking a spinnerbait would work too. while you're throwing that have a partner throwing a follow up bait like a senko, texas rigged tube or ned rig to catch the ones that miss. like a one two punch

since being back to work.. havent been fishing for a while. finally got out this morning and landed a nice 2.5-3lber on a football jig at blue marsh. while it was my only one for the day it felt good to get out... it was a hot one!

17 lb is what i use for texas rigs and jigs. cast nice.

trash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i dont understand that people think its acceptable to leave garbage bags full of trash. and how the heck do you carry that much stuff just to fish. bucket fisherman fishing next to me. literally had fisherman start fishing 2 steps from me. then ask me hows the fishing.

oh yeah. the lake i fish are pressured enough. add 500% more fisherman....
