When you're fishing partner is the exact opposite.
just secretly unhook the trolling batteries?

Could you only fish crankbaits year round forever?
i think i could? as long as you let me sling a buzzbait too. ??

Lithium Batteries
ive got 2 50ah ionic lithiums for my trolling motor. have them for one season so far along with a 100ah for my cranking and electronics battery. i feel like that was a good choice, no problems so far. not trying to knock dakotas but i was hearing off of youtube anglers having alot of mechanical and customer service issues.

Trolling Motors
honestly speed for one. high winds or current for another reason. but with your raider i doubt u will take it out on high wind days or alot of current just for safety reasons. a 30 or 45lb would be plenty i believe.

Mono vs fluoro
mono is just fine. the only thing for me about fluoro is sensitivity. i can feel a good bit better with fluoro. dont really care about the invisibility factors. i still use mono on alot of moving baits.

Any advice for noob boat owner?
-ethanol free gas. and fuel treatment doesnt hurt either. -routine maintenance like oil changes and lower unit oil changes aint that hard. do it before you are done for the winter. -get some of those moisture absorbing packs and stuff them in all your compartments. -i take my batteries out and inside my house. then keep them on a trickle charger... im sure someone will also give ya some better tips

Paddletails on chatterbaits
i try alot of things. i do like paddletails, but i cut the flange off. less drag in the water and more erratic. i feel it causes reaction strikes better.

no wake zones. when people dont follow it
yea i rarely see those guys during the weekday. mostly weekends. I dont kno. i was told by one of them that maybe 3 of them have about 5 counties. i would really like to kno what our state does with that extra surplus of fishing license puchases past couple of years??

Wasting Money on Soft Plastics
what i think it has to do with. having a fish seeing something different than what hes always seeing. im sure if all you throw and every one throws is a senko. im sure hell get accustomed to it. then again i fished ponds where it seemed i could catch em on a rubberband.... so i dont kno?

no wake zones. when people dont follow it
most u get outta me is a just shakin my head. fishing is my relax time... cant stress me out

no wake zones. when people dont follow it
i fish a lake called blue marsh. all the creeks are all no wake zones. i think either boaters dont know what that is or just dont care. i guess 5mph isnt their thing. this is just a venting post. i swear this is true. had a guy yell "what.... is this too fast for you" then preceded to do donuts cuz i was staring at him going at least 15 mph. i just laughed it off hoping someone with authority would see.

flouro for squarebills
i dont go under 15lb mono. but i use shallow squarebills for just that. its target fishing for me. i dont worry about how deep it goes. i believe mono lets the bait pop off cover better.
-
What's the best way to target fish in 15 foot of water?
if they are bass. carolina rig or dropshot

Eastern PA Fishing Reports
great morning on the water at blue marsh. from 8-11 i worked the buzzbait today pretty much the whole time. cuaght 6. biggest went about 4 1/2. maybe one 3lber. the others were probably ones and twos. pretty good for a quick morning. getting busy there though. im gonna soon only go there on bad weather days. less boat traffic.?

Eastern PA Fishing Reports

SE PA or NE MD - where to go for easy 1st trip w/ new boat
well blue marsh might be a place to start. maybe on a weekday when its not so busy. has easy ramps and half the lake is a no wake zone. maybe that would help.

pretty proud of my self
i think that might be my problem..since i rush through things and sometimes use a screwdriver as a hammer.Lol. i should work on that!! Jk

pretty proud of my self
Just sayin... im not too electronically inclined, but im learning. today i just finished putting new wire for my new motorgiude 24volt tour 80 lb thrust trolling motor. replaced the stock 8 gauge wire 40 amp breaker to 6 gauge wire with a 60 amp breaker. seemed pretty easy. a lil too easy. and get this it works!
