  2. i was fishing a lipless off a rocky point?. she loaded up pretty light, then really started pulling drag. i think shes over 6. right now i think they are setting up before they head into the coves.
  3. a 7ft medium to medium-heavy fast action casting rod can take care of majority of bass fishing. texas rigs, spinnerbaits, lipless crankbaits, jerkbaits,etc.
  4. another good short day (cold and windy?)at blue marsh this one was a heavy one.

  9. today was a good day at blue marsh. caught seven bass with one being a tank of a smallie, probly a lil over 6lbs . was using a lipless mostly. but caught a couple on spinnerbaits too. caught a nice 5 lb largie but she swallowed the lipless to her gills and was bleeding bad so i didnt take a pic. i just unhooked and got her back in the water as fast as possible and she swam off.

  11. on a nice day... yea it is boaters galore, casting at your feet?. i go on gloomy days usually...thats the norm for me anyway. but then you just have to deal with bucket fishermen. nows the time for smallies.
  12. was fishing blue marsh like 3 times in the past two weeks and was on a good lipless bite. and a couple on football jigs. a decent one bit a squarebill close to shorline yesterday.

  14. yeah taking my time this year... about 4 more to do out of 11. i set a foldable table up in front of the tv downstairs and go to it. just somthing to do when i get a day off and stuck inside.

  17. first bass on a jerkbait this year and... first time i fell in the lake because rocks beneath my feet gave out... twice(1 early spring? and 1 a week ago.)lol. also a pb smallmouth. 21.5" almost 6lbs on a lipless in late spring

  21. for light cover... yep it will work. i use a 7'4" dobyns heavy(which is really a medium heavy)for jigs to bushes and laydowns with no issues.
  22. After you have your bait dropping your desired speed. Turn those centrifugal brakes to 3 or 4. Then the mags on to about 7
