  1. Couldn't beat the $20 price cut at DSG, and was looking for another Crankbait rod. Crap, now I need another Lew's reel...??
  2. Anybody wondering about Left or Right hand retrieve. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1883888418518211/permalink/2403540349886346/
  3. I use no less than 8-10lb test leader with 20 or 30lb braid
  4. I only retie leader when it's to short. Depending what I have tied on, I'll use specific knot accordingly. I use Stren fluorocarbon for leader and never had an issue. I used to use Suffix FC, but that stuff tends to fray after awhile.
  5. If you don't use your boat everyday of the week or run your motor the whole time when your out, you don't really need to change your impeller every season. I pre run my motor the day before I go to the lake to make sure it starts and pees straight...
  6. Majority of marinas on big lakes let you rent pontoons or tins, so this could be an even better option.
  7. I have so many extra Plano and F&S boxes, I just use them to store my overflow.
  8. Hmm, do not see a difference (in a what it's made to do kinda way) between that jig box and a regular Plano 3700 spinnerbait box they can both do the same thing. I have swim jigs and bladed ligs clipped in it as well. Is it deeper and you can stack the jigs in the grooves? No knock on the product cause I have tons of Plano boxes.
  9. Yes similar to that but 16.5 ft instead of 19ft. Bass Pro Shops sells them and that one as well. Tracker is Bass Pro Shops line of boats. Seem like a Tin deep V hull is more what you need so check Lund, Tracker makes them as well.
  10. If your willing to spend that much, just get a brand new Bass Tracker Classic.
  11. In a Plano type storage container.
  12. You need to pull the pin...
  13. It's a great feature, i'm gonna switch out my older SV to the Plus model as well.
  14. The touch screens on the pluses are great for the price as well.
  15. forgetting to put in you drain plug and livewell plug....
  16. That's probably what my first and only WP blow up looked like about a month ago... I was looking the other way when I heard the explosion and my rod was almost ripped out of my hands. Good times. Nice Hawg
  17. To note, I have a couple of H/F Royale Legend rods and they're are the same size as my other brand MH/F rods. It's whatever materials they use. If they tout that they use a certain material that's stronger than what another brand is using they will use less of it, and that's why you're seeing the different diameter size on the blanks most likely. It's also a known fact each brand has their own definition of M MH H XH.
  18. Yeah, I have the Perigee II M/MH Fast 3 piece BC rod as well, then bought the MH one piece version and it was thinner. I think it's just the way the 2 and 3 piece rods are made. With the ferule making the bottom portion thicker.
  19. Saw a classic yesterday. Ive seen several Heritage/ Classics around this lake.
