  1. I paid $35 to watch Tyson & Spinks I think in 88.. Tyson 1st round KO.. I was getting a beer out of fridge.. Sucked... http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HuaFIRD7_5Y
  2. Leeches around here don't look like those..
  3. More than likely.. The fish thought the crankbait was a baitfish & the bait did it's job..
  4. Absolutely, that was my point about CS.. You never know with Boyd's Co... Get your rod replaced, before someone else changes the ruling yet again!!
  5. I'm pulling for pac as well..
  6. Here are some other disregarded answers for you http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/155745-150-spinning-reel-help/#entry1754655 http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/156054-spinning-reel-help/#entry1758695 Read thru those answers and see what "Piece" You like the best, then ask tomorrow and see how you feel about those answers, then make sure you ask again on Monday. Do you know how to set up notifications? Or, find your own topic? I'm not really sure how to help you with this issue.
  7. Yup, some guys are all in like me on my first marriage ( failed ) I gave it all.. "she" chose her own road, and she fell head first into a pit.. She's still in it too.. It most defiantly takes 2 people (sane & sober helps) to stay married.. I don't fret, I know it wasn't me,even she would tell you that. I know this, when I got married, I meant for it to be till death do us part.. Key word " I " it's a brutal thing "divorce"
  8. I never needed to hot rod my fuegos, I was quite pleased casting with the plain Jane stock spool. I did see one, in the flea market months ago, I swear it had a Tatula drag star & handle on it.. As I remember, it's the same (stock) drag star and handle as my TDX reels were.. They are a fine reel, no doubt.
  9. Um, replace the battery's? Run lithium in cold weather or go mechanical.. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/13836-accurate-fish-scale/
  10. That's one terrific fish you got there! Big ole pig on topwater, gotta love that..
  11. Most times a pressure change ( high ) combined with high uv seems to shut things up for a short period of time, after a good 36 to 48 hrs it almost always picks back up.. A bad day fishing is still better than, well, a lot of other things, lol
  12. Ibtl.. Oh, any one of those reels will work for you. What's a piece?
  13. I'm a padi diver, I wanted to weld underwater myself in about 80, school was a 2 year wait same as Seabee training..(USN) so I skipped that and went another route.. Still, I've dove offshore in Fl. and Puerto Rico.. Seriously fun & dangerous.. Spear shot a 75 pd amberjack 25 miles off the coast of Jacksonville. Fish tried to kill me! Geez, what a battle. Do you panic easily? If so, skip it.. If your pretty cool under fire ( or water lol) give it a whirl. It's worth the cost. Do you smoke? ( big no no ) how bout if you get a high nitrogen ( ambient ) tank of air & you get cotton mouth so bad you feel stoned? Lol, geez, I could go on, it ain't exactly a cakewalk but the rewards are well worth it. If you don't do it for a career change, still do it for the Rec.. I was strangely humored watching noobs have to remove the mask, drop it, locate it, then pull it back on & clear it. Many panic & shoot for the surface, not the deal in diving. If your suspended at 100' and loose your mask, well, don't panic! Hopefully you have a great dive buddy.. If not, well, that's another story..
  14. Nice work.. You gotta know whether they are going to fire, being around this technology way before it was available to civilians, I test my bladders a lot.. The CO2 cartridges are quite reliable, bladders can & do become damaged. With a manual/top off inflation device a person can test the bladder as much as they want.. Or just pull & inflate, I wouldn't oppose that either, lol
  15. KISS.. Simplicity is blissful, basics, Texas rigs, casting, a known good place to fish & catch. That should get you going..

    Welcome to Bassresource..
  17. You can't be tried by a jury of your peers because there are none. Children often innocently ask you, "What did people do before electricity?" And you can't remember.
  18. We are only teasing..no harm meant
  19. French or toy? It could matter... hehe! Ok, I'm done picking on you...
  20. Yup, a ole Rick Clunn trick.."bow & arrow" works good with co-polys don't know about braid..
  21. Gills heavy on the beds on south Kentucky lake, right now.. Bass are getting some payback.. Pop 's are getting it done!
  22. Why? You going to buy a home if there's "nice bass"? If not, be forewarned these areas have many stipulations & typically it's for home owners only..
  23. Saw it off, ream out the hair ball ( poodle ) bulb end and reglue... Seriously, those rods are pretty inexpensive, right?
