Just got Email alert from AL.. Taking preorders, appears to be a nice looking stix, w/ loomis styled cork handles, which I like better than all other production rods. No ML sticks though, lol, I'm going to call and try and reach Brian, and see if I can nail down the guide train a bit more, I keep dropping calls...

Well, weeds are not brush, nor rocky areas... So in direct answer, No, not exactly weedless, however, I still know it to be true that in & around, brush, and rocky areas, they work well... I never really lost more or less than other smaller baits of this style. Including pond magic spinnerbaits... Any open hook type of any panfish style of bait, tube, jig,etc.. has the potential for snags or dragging junk in or being lost. It's a good bait, especially in ponds and creeks...

Safety pin spinners! Sure, as much as most spinnerbaits, around rock & wood.. Weak hooks are about the only drawback, if there is one.. Play your catch ( Bass ) you should be fine. Killer bluegill & crappie bait as well. Try a roadrunner too!

I believe I've hooked LMB about every conceivable way it can be done, with about every bait commonly used in LMB fishing, sometimes they eat it deep, sometimes they eat it shallow, sometimes they slash at a 9 hook Jerkbait and get harpooned in the outside jaw area, crankbaits sometimes penetrate the tops of heads, body's of fish, tail areas, if I had my druthers, I want a jig, or trig single hook to penetrate upper mouth area... I wish I could call it like a 8 ball in the corner pocket. We catch some, we loose some, not sure about all the reasons we do loose them. At any rate, if the hook does penetrate well enough.. Wherever that maybe, theres a high likelihood you should land that fish...

With all the great reels, by multiple manufacturers, there is 0 reason to buy a product from said company, IMO ....

After fishing Florida for 10 years, coming back to Indiana, I struggled vehemently. I really had to dig deep and study, I spent a lot of time with maps, and just motoring around finding and marking areas.. Eventually, it started to come together. It was a difficult transition. I really feel comfortable on larger res. now... After a few successful seasons, its much easier to fish and not have to search.. Fun fishing mostly, not touring the country stuff... So you can learn your area lakes and be successful year after year, once it's learned.. As far as video game fishing, my electronics are not that grand! Looks fun though...

When you say lighter, how light?

Hawgtech 102mm they make different sizes, straight or swept, also different knob options, as well as colored hardware.. Call or Email them would be good advice.
