I did put a # 4 on the front and back of one... But I haven't swam it yet... So not sure if it will swim right....but the bigger 4 on the front I know helps..

I just bought 6 Dt 6.... They are all sporting size 6 trebles... Nib... Older ones came with a rear sure-set hook... Not sure on its size... I have changed the front to a size 4 VMC hook off of Xcalibur xcs200's which were upgraded to mustard triple grip short shank... I left the rear hook on the dt6

Well you know there is LMB in it.... You can be certain there's at least a small wolf pack in there.. Up-size you're soft plastics... Use stealth at the water.. Also be careful at steep banks & at beaver huts... There in there.. Big girls are harder to catch. But you need to give up the cranks and such.... Go big!

Yea it's true... They are special! The way all Rage baits are able to manipulate thru the water ? Amazing to me.... I use all craw sizes.... Waiting on the Bug. I will keep throwing the craws even after I buy up the bugs!

They still make those? I caught a 7 on circle lake in Florida about 88... I haven't seen those in forever! Heck, hadn't thought about it either!

I know I have some bass bugs..( Balsa)that are distinctive but .. Yea way light.. Fly rod stuff... Shoot... When I was a kid... We threw those with a plastic bobber... And Always caught exceptional fish... Good luck... Post back if you find it out!

Have you ever tried filing the bottom edge? On a pop r... ? I think I know the sound... I used to get that with modified pop r's.... I see them at DSG.. WM... For a couple bucks all the time... Cheap enuff to modify and loose to tarpon..etc.....

I always caught them as a by- product of Wild or Hybrid Shiner fishing, in Fl... But I really have no other ideal on it.

Like I said... You're keeping records, record this information too... I don't think it's a tournament question... It's a learning tool that's pretty interesting a few years down the road... Kept records on whitetails & turkeys... I really picked up some interesting facts... It's worth the extra effort and fun!

Yea it sounds good.... And with tournament officials in B.A.S.S tourneys (Boats) already... Seems like a logical route to me.. I suppose FLW has officials in the Boat w/ Anglers? Idk... I don't keep up with the tourneys much anymore. However, I do believe it's a great ideal.

Just the opposite for my rivers/creeks I always, always did better with squirrel tail... Geez.. Now I feel old! Used to sell squirrel tails to Mepps... With my dads help!!

Nothing against braid... But I used mono 10 years in Central Florida.. In the thickest hydrilla patches, in the Atlantic, Gulf, St.Johns, Black creek, Docters inlet... On & on..... Geez ... Never had a problem using Mono! Still use it... I like co-polys, my current fave is Yo-Zuri .. Braid has some advantages. I don't need to use it though... Nothing wrong with using a lite mono.. Especially for sport.. Records..etc.....

I like Excalibur 100 & 200 also Dt 1... Bigguns.. Can't remember exact # also have picked up a couple of Bagleys... I used these bagley baits in the 80's and 90's then stopped.. It seems the Quailty may be back!
