Yup, I've been fortunate at times to catch big bags of FLMB by the end of the first hour of fishing, conversely, I've also fished all day long, and caught a big bag the last hour.. I've been burned more than you can imagine in Florida, Kentucky, & Indiana.. In other words a big fat 0.. Bass fishing is not bluegill, crappie or catfishing. It can & will frustrate a angler. ( that might well be the alure of it for me )

Yea, try a 3" tube, w exposed hook if possible. Bass fishing can be brutally tough at times. Study the seasons, how they affect bass. Study your water ( area ) learn vegetation, learn drops, structure.. Prey types, etc.. Most of all stay determined. Welcome to the site..

Night fishing? It's a crescent moon, if you were night fishing, what kinda light were you using? Maybe I'm missing something, but if your seeing these fish at night, in the shallows, then you must be using a light source. Perhaps that's why they are spooking rather easily. A-Jay is right though, search for other fish in deeper water.. After failed attempts at shallow fish, time to change the plan up & go after different fish, behaving differently. (At least in theory, & yes it's a sound theory )

ACDC does put on a great show, I've seen them 3 times myself, once with Bon 2 times with Brian.. All shows were awesome, with great sound. I was saddened to hear about Malcolm having to stop playing, apparently he suffers from dementia & literally would forget the songs on stage.. Sad..

I use up to 20.. No tougher line in the world to use in rocks..

Truthfully, what I learned fishing in the 70's came primarily from Bassmaster magazine & just fishing & learning from a select few other fisherman.. Ray Scott grew the sport, I believe Bill Dance & Roland, Jimmy Houston.. Contributed as well. Times are waay different now, shows, to me, are terrible when compared to the past. I always learned more by reading & implementing what I learned on the water.. Hope you find a worthy show or two..

About the truth, many moons ago I learned while in The Boy Scouts, the motto " always be prepared" it has served me well in life..

What pound braid are you using? How about the rods action.. If you are new to baitcasting, I would suggest spooling up & using mono to learn casting this reel.. 2 brakes on and dial @ 3 or 4 should control any bait on a outcast. Yes, I use the curado I , however I've been casting baitcasters for 4 decades.( I'm not a braid lover ) although I use it occasionally.. Practice casting at the ball field, your yard & you will get the mechanics of your rig. Good luck..

Myself? I'm more likely to have a custom made.. But, I wouldn't condemn anyone for spending their own money..( Nrx ) I hear they are amazing.

I strongly urge you to BEGIN to carry your wallet with your license in it.. You still need to have a state issued ID card on you anyway.. Doesn't take much effort to start a new habit. The excuse of I've never carried a wallet hunting or fishing is not adequate IMO. Avoid future difficulties with a license in a wallet is my advice. Good luck..

Irregardless of the exact details of the hunt itself, the lion did have a radio collar.. At this time of discovery, that's when he should of come clean. It's a smoking gun & they tryed to hide this. They got caught. Thanks to the guide & shooter, they have ignited a firestorm of ill repute.. It's mostly completely biased, by ( well we all know ) which is why it's even more important to follow the letter of the law. ( Nevermind the integrity involved ) I'm pro hunting & have hunted big game all my life.. The guide failed the hunter, the hunter failed too. He's been railroaded for this act and that is sad.. Haha.. I'm not surprised, the low ticket price was courtesy of a louisville radio station wlrs 102 fm But tickets were still cheap around here. Kiss was at the top of their game in 78 & opened up with the aforementioned acdc ( Bon Scott ) and the ticket was $5.50 ( reserved seating ) ( which was nearly unheard of for concerts ) I did pay $20 for the Zep tickets, of course those were scalped prices too.. Now Van Halen, sheesh those guys were lushes.. Major whisky drinkers on stage, bass player & Eddie, saw them 2 times with Roth, once with Sammy ( Sammy show was best )
