  1. All you have to do is turn it around. I have a Rapala clip on line counter on my home made reel spooler. It works like a charm. I just rigged a couple of line guides to make the line run backward and it counts the line length well. I hope this helps. Ronnie
  2. A short curly tail grub or 3" ribbon tail worm, sometimes. Ronnie

  8. That's a hard question because Fuji's OG series of guides have aluminum oxide rings. Aluminum oxide is a ceramic material used in guides from many different maufactures. Fuji is brand name and they make a lot of guides at different quality/price & materials. Hope this helps you. Ronnie

At the end of the St. Charles street car line near the Jefferson Parish line is the Camelia Grill famous for there "Chilli Cheese Omelet". Lakeview Seafood in N. O. 13. I would glue another tip on it and call it a a 6' 2" heavy, super extra fast rod and continue to fish with it. Who makes the rod? Maybe a warranty will replace it. Hope this helps. Ronnie

  16. SCII is a designation that St.Croix uses to define the modulus of their graphite material. Premiers and Triumphs are not made on the exact same blanks, only with same raw material. That's like saying that a beer can and Shimano spool are the same because they are both made of aluminum. The blank tapers are different, they use different guides, different handles and reel seats on some models, the blanks and guides are finished differently. They are similar in some ways, but not exactly the same. Ronnie
  17. My philosophy is that fish don't have a color chart and my baits of all types are some shade of black/gray, white/silver or chartruse/green. I think that fish respond more to contrast, flash and sillouettes than specific colors. JMHO Ronnie

NC, If you can think of a jig as a hook with a weighted head designed to hold many different artificial baits or trailers, you will see that all of the lures in both pictures are types of jigs. Most of the time when you read posts/articles about jig & pork or jig & craw trailers the type of jig in the first picture is most common. The jigs in the second picture are swim jigs. Note that you could pull the small soft plastic minnow off of those jigs and put on a plastic worm or grub and you have a whole different lure. Jigs are very versital and you can rig them and fish them a million ways. Next to a plastic worm They are the best all around baits for bass. JMHO Ronnie
  19. Raul, I think there is some kind of a little glitch in the board software that sometimes kicks new members out as soon as they sign up. I think the mods will fix him up. It has happened before, but I think it's pretty rare. Ronnie
