It was Mexican. On the North side of the lake. Its called Veracruz. Thankfully I was the only one that got the chicken so my girls avoided it. There is some seriously good BBQ at LOZ. To be completely honest, there are only a few BBQ joints in KC that I actually like. Most of them are dry meat slathered in bbq.

Water clarity that far out is impossible to predict man. Also, at that point a jerkbait wouldn't even be considered. Beaver baits, jigs, top water, spinner baits, crankbaits, spoons all can be productive that time of year. The lake is going to be dangerously rough and crowded during the day. Usually have until 9 or 10 am before it gets stupid. That time of year on loz can produce monsters if you can night fish.

Ugh... got food poisoning from a Mexican restaurant by loz on sunday.... I swear it almost killed me. Went to the doc today and got 2 bags of fluid and feel much better. Teach me to go the ozarks and not eat bbq.
