  1. eye dr. Used to get costa's...that's another story. Past few years I went with wileyx. Affordable, nice frames. Get the lenses anyway you want.
  2. If I remember, last year they were readily available. Almost bought one, but waited...I went with the hudgill. With no success yet...

Throwing a watermelon red flake t-rigged trick worm. He inhaled it, had to do some minor surgery, swam off like a boss. No other action, beautiful day here in NW Flo-rida:
  4. Looking for some recommendations on jerk baits. Specifically for the those suspended/deeper fish. The lakes I fish get no deeper than 25' at the deepest, a big part is around 20'. I have had some luck on deep cranks when they are holding in the deeper water, 10' and deeper. Just want to expand into jerkbaits and see what happens.
  5. You technically would be better off...if they do the gift card deal again, then wait for another 20% off sale. The waiting is what's hard to do.

Hit up the creek a few times this week. Lost a decent one the other day....hit it up this morning, caught a dink chain pickerel, must have been a few down there, lost a worm tail and a lizard tail on a couple of bites. Nice day 75, sunny and light breeze.
  7. lol. I stay on the pbj diet.
  8. BOOM. got a dobyns fury 705cb, *** ***, some 6xd, normans dd22, mccoys line. Glad that's over with.
  9. heck, I went and cut the grass, got the leaves up, came back...boohoo
  10. lol....so true. We want our fishin' stuffs! NOW!!!!!
  11. I hope not, got one in my cart...
  12. agree...my f5 finger hurts.
  13. not on my end....
  14. traffic on tw is crazy, get your orders in quick.... do I REALLY need that new cranking rod and reel?
  15. ya, I looked yesterday, guess they are 30% off their clearance rack. Selection was so bad, after 4 rod searches I left.
  16. About the same here. I really have not put enough time into crankbait fishing. The swimjigs, spinnerbaits and dragging lizards/worms/creature baits is hard to put down when they work. I am going to make an effort next year to spend some more time with the cranks and see what happens. I did catch some decent ones this past weekend on xd and dt's.
  17. I've tried'em....think I will stick with another brand.
  18. my list grows by the minute...I am going to buy a mh crankbait rod to throw the dd22/5xd/6xd, and a new reel for it. And whatever else I can get away with.
  19. storm arashi, ratltraps and red eye shad...big goose eggs.
  20. Awhile back, my wife bought a bag of this brownie crisp stuff...no big deal, I tried it, pretty good, looked for it the next day in the pantry, my kids dun ate it all up. So my wife bought some more this weekend, maybe a different brand, the bag looked different than the other she bought, so maybe the kids did not notice it yet, anyway...these things are SO good, it's like eating a chocolate potato chip minus the potato. And you just can't stop! Help me!
  21. Wondering the same thing. Looking at the 7'3 delay for crankbaits. for $129, that's pretty much my limit. No reviews anywhere yet. Waiting for the tw bf sale. Need a new reel to go with it.
  22. Hit the lake just before sunrise. Had a 16"er in about 5 minutes on a white/chr spinnerbait. Spanked the grass 1/2 way around the lake, nothing else. Decided to try out my new 5xd and deep rapala. The shad pattern rattlin' 5xd did not do anything, tried it for about 1/2 hour. Tied on the red craw rapala no rattles. Landed 2 @ 17"pretty quick. Got hung up twice...second time, the lake seemed to want it more than me. Threw chatterbaits, swimjigs and trigged lizard, drop shot, nothing else. Water temp was 65 partly cloudy almost the entire morning. Never did mark any fish, talked to another angler, he said the same thing. Not a bad day, cut out early for the 2 hour ride home to get some things done. Was a beautiful morning...started out about 55, and rose to about 67 by the time I left. Sorry no pics this time, left my phone in the truck.
